Someone once said while the Daleks were the obvious threat for a Time War, the Cybermen would have been much scarier. Imagine them Cyber-converting a planet, and then going back along that planets history and cyber-converting everyone....

It would be very interesting to see The Cybermen show up in a future set. They serve as an interesting contrast from the Daleks and the Sontarans. They have more advanced time travel capabilities than the Sontarans but less advanced than the Daleks. They also have entirely different motives (though motive is perhaps not the right term to describe the Cybermen).

I rathe hope that War stories become an annual staple, it'll be telling IMO if the final story of Boxset 4 is him deciding "no more" and stealing/going to steal the Moment then sadly BF has only plans for those four box sets.

I would doubt that, as Nick Briggs has said somewhere that they won't be ignoring Engines of War.

Engines of War was a cracking War Doctor adventure that is very much part of War's development as a character.

I'm fairly certain it was mentioned in Vortex or on facebook that the War Doctor audios started about mid way through the timewar (though that may be my memory playing tricks on me). I also wouldn't be surprised if they adapt Engines Of War eventually...

Bit of a classic grandfather paradox there.

Bit of a classic grandfather paradox there. It's a Time War, fiddling with history is exactly the battlefield.

I may have to go back and give it another read but honestly, it didn't do a whole lot for me.

I had some issues with it too, but now we've established the War Doctor a bit more, established that, in effect he's the Doctor trying desperately to avoid his conscience and be a monster for the sake of thinking he needs to be monstrous, I really enjoyed it when I re-read it.

Same here. I'd love an audio Cinder. The question is... Who should play her? Discuss.
