That lightening hand...
Could Timothy Dalton be back as Rassilon but they're just keeping it under wraps for now to announce at a later time?

There's no gauntlet, which seems to put the lie to that idea. That and that the participation of Timothy Dalton would be far too great a draw for BF to want to keep it secret. That said, the title does bring to mind the Sixth Doctor's "In All my Travels" speech from "Trial of a Timelord," so I won't be surprised if Gallifrey is somehow involved, ala "Underworld."

That is a very nice cover, it almost has a pseudo 1980s vibe to it.

I am looking forward to hearing what Jamie Anderson brings to the table.

I am looking forward to hearing what Jamie Anderson brings to the table. Between that, Guy Adams writing a Main Range script and Helen Goldwyn directing the Fifth Doctor anthology the Main Range shows promising changes after being on autopilot for a few years. I'm especially keen to hear how Helen's direction will come out, and hope that Louise Jameson will be asked to direct another Main Range after her excellent handling of last year's Shield of the Jotunn.

I know Big Finish got John Hurt, but Timothy Dalton being back might be pushing it. John Hurt came back and only did it in the first place as it felt like an honour to play the Doctor. Tim Dalton played Rassilon and I don't think... Anyway, who knows it could be a previous incarnation where the hand thing happened.

From memory, Timothy Dalton didn't return for "Hell Bent" because he was working on Penny Dreadful, so you never know... That said, I am hoping for a standalone adventure with an original villain from Jamie Anderson. It'd be nice to have continued the trend from the previous Five/Tegan/Nyssa trilogy of no returning allies or adversaries, so one adventure sandwiched between the Daleks and what is probably a Cyberman story would be nice. The universe seems far, far smaller when we keep bumping into the same species over and over again.

I never expected John Hurt to reprise his role as the War Doctor.
