From this Week's weekly round up.
Next week we announce some new releases
Anyone care to guess?
I'm going for:
TW something for the Anniversery or Series 3
DS Bloodlines due maybe next year
Next Sherlock Boxset
Outside chances
Pathfinder or Blake's 7
I'd personally hope they were all DW or TW related but I don't think I'll be that lucky.
Regards

I'm thinking the Torchwood special, the Jack/Jackie release, and maybe DS: Bloodlines.

mark687 I think you have covered the main runners and riders! Although Quicksilver in the main range might turn out to be a Cyberman story I have been surprised that there has been no 50th Anniversary Cyberman release for this October. Perhaps BF have a special release planned. With the current novel adaptions finishing in December we could get some more for next year? Perhaps with stories for the Fifth Doctor.

We'll they re-issued their Cybermen series in a boxset in May so they marked it somehow, though I do take the point BF seem to be stretching out info on Quicksilver,

My guess is:
1. Ninth Doctor 'Companion Chronicles' (Albeit under a new brand - 'The Many Lives of Captain Jack', 'The TARDIS Data Bank' or something along those lines) - first one being Jack/Jackie 2. The future of the War Doctor series after box set four - will there be a fifth box set? 3. An eighth Doctor 20th anniversary TV Movie release maybe starring Daphne Ashbrook as Grace if BF have managed to get the rights back 4. Some new Big Finish licenses - Thunderbirds perhaps?

I suspect, as per the podcast, that we'll hear about the third run of Torchwood starting in March (with officially announcements of Visiting Hours (?) and the other story they confirmed the title for). I'm also anticipating the official confirmation (because there hasn't been any, surprisingly) of the seventh series of Fourth Doctor Adventures, with pre-orders opening and possibly some story titles announced (though, admittedly, it may be a bit too soon for that). We should at least get some idea of who the cast will be too (isn't this the series expected to feature a new companion?) Beyond that, possibly the Jack/Jackie thing, as I think Scott Handcock mentioned (somewhere...) that we were unlikely to hear anything about it before September (which is where/when we are now). There's my two... well, three cents

Maybe the Torchwood series 3 and Jack & Jackie announcements will be one and the same since we've already two Torchwood special releases coming up?

Maybe the Torchwood series 3 and Jack & Jackie announcements will be one and the same since we've already two Torchwood special releases coming up? I can't see why Jack and Jackie would be Torchwood. Why would you put Jackie in Torchwood when you could use Jack meeting Jackie to tell 9th Doctor stories without the need of Christopher Eccleston?

Why would you put Jackie in Torchwood when you could use Jack meeting Jackie to tell 9th Doctor stories without the need of Christopher Eccleston? I guess the advantage would be that in Torchwood she could be in a full-cast story rather than one with narration (its interesting to note that the preview clip, from memory, had no narration, although it could be part of a frame story). That said, I'm pretty sure they've confirmed its not part of torchwood.

I could imagine Jackie bookending Jack's tale of a ninth Doctor adventure.
