Keanu Reeves as the Doctor, or in Sherlock, or anything British really.
He was fine in the Matrix movies, good in A Scanner Darkly, wonderful in the Bill & Ted movies, but metal-glaive-on-a-blackboard-grating in both Dracula and Much Ado. Those last two were two of the worst casting decisions I've ever had to endure.
To quote from the Animaniacs episode:
Keanu: [leaps aboard a speeding bus] I'm looking for a bomb.
Slappy Squirrel: Check out your performance in Dracula.

A consistently poor performance is probably the quickest way to make me tune out and an actor who acts violent or insulting in public can also determine whether I keep watching the show. I doubt either of these would end up being a problem for Doctor Who, though - I think the show has had a great history with who they cast as the Doctor and companion.

I stopped watching Two and a Half Men when Charlie Sheen was sacked. Ashton Kutcher was awful.

But, that was part of the Charlie Harper character. He was too old. I have to admit, though, I wasn't happy with Charlie Sheens last few series. The humour was pretty smutty.

And the Thirteenth Doctor is...... ....Kim Kardashian /Wakes up in puddle of vomit next morning, throws TV out window. That might make me switch it. I mean, it definitely wouldn't, because its still Doctor Who, but I would definitely complain about it on the internet. Unless she turned out to be surprisingly good. You never know. With a "sonic selfie stick"?

I find that really interesting, that you like every actor. I have no interest in the new Jumanji film, one reason being Kevin Hart! Jack Black the other! I never said I like every actor. There are definitely actors I like more than others. Some I could take or leave. But I can't think (off the top of my head) of an actor I dislike so much that it would spoil a whole show for me. Maybe there is one and I'm just not remembering, but I can't think of one right now. Casting choices are not necessarily the reason that I choose to watch or not. Usually it has more to do with the subject of the show and the story line. Although I am more inclined to try a show if it has an actor I love in it. Totally agreed. For me to totally tune out I think it would have to be some combination of bad writing/storytelling, bad showrunning, and bad acting -- the presence of a particular actor might be a positive or negative mark, but I don't have any single actors I dislike so categorically that I'd switch off once the casting decision is announced. If the writing combined with the acting leads me to dislike watching the show overall, I might stop watching only after a few episodes, but I don't really expect that to happen.

I really hope this is a place we don't have to go. So far I think DW has been more or less impeccable in casting leading characters. I don't think even Matt Lucas will be miscast but if they make a clown of his character I really will start to think the showrunners have lost the plot to be breaking with a fine tradition of long standing like that, and can only hope that Capaldi's performances would be powerful enough to keep me on board. Possibly, but it does remain to be seen.

I always thought Nesbitt would make a great Master, but would be miscast as the Doctor.

Two names: Jenna Coleman and Samuel Anderson, two names that will curse for the rest of my life. Matt Smith did his best to rescue the series when Clara came but when the Eleventh Doctor left, the golden age is over (his return in Big Finish, along with the Pond family, will be epic and great as the Sixth Doctor and Tegan renaissance)
It's no big surprise that the best episodes of Capaldi, Heaven Sent, The Doctor's Meditation and "The Husbands of River Song" are those that irritating girl does not appear.

I didn't like Clara in S7 because she seemed to be a blandly kooky/spunky plot device, in S8 and 9 she actually grew into a memorable, arrogant and strong willed character, I like that she didn't take any shit from the Doctor and called him out on some of his morals, Clara was rather full of herself and built up to falsely believe she was an equal to the Doctor, but she paid dearly for her mistakes, personally the companion/Doctor relationship between 12 and Clara struck me as perhaps the most believable in New Who rather than just being blandly cheerful besties all the time, Moffat actual took a gamble and pointed out how toxic/flawed the Doctor's reliance on his companions can be, Clara could be a self obsessed pain in the arse at times, but oddly enough that made it easier for me to belive/like her as Character than some of the other companions... I'm not necessarily saying it was brilliantly executed, but I really liked what Moffat was trying to do with the 12/Clara team, S8+9 have been my favourite of New Who and I can't wait for the day BF negotiates a license to use the characters and build/improve on what we saw on TV. Personally I find much of the Smith years unwatchable (though I was a huge fan of Smith's performance) but each to their own.

Personally I find much of the Smith years unwatchable (though I was a huge fan of Smith's performance) but each to their own. As Doc Oho Reviews said in Facebook: Clara has left the series four times now. It's beyond a joke. A waste of Gallifrey in favour of Moffat's obsession with the dullest of companions. A few neat touches but mostly this was an incomprehensible mess. We need original stories, not bad fan service. I really share the opinion of Joe For (although he really hates her, I just tolerate her) that Clara was overused and she is so vanilla. I barely remember the moments that Capaldi had with she, maybe it's because they barely have time to be together in Series 9 ("Last Christmas" should be his farewell as it was the only time that this team really worked), and Capaldi had better chemistry with anyone who interacted as Courtney Woods, Shona McCullough, Missy, Psi & Saibra, Journey Blue, Osgood, and obviously River Song. Rory Williams did better this " didn't take any shit from the Doctor and called him out on some of his morals" without looking like a spoiled or manipulative girl as Clara, and Amy Pond is much arrogant and strong wild personality woman. but each to their own, but with Danny Pink episodes are totally unwatchable boring. I could see Series 6 thousand times, but Hell Bent was a betrayal and Sleep No More is torture.

I initially thought Danny Pink had potential. But he was not used effectively throughout the series, and his end was just depressing and pointless.

Goodness, yes! As for your others, not at all a fan of Justin Bieber, so yeah, that could be a deal-breaker for me. Not that familiar with the other two you mentioned.

Harry Hill, it's a British comedian and whilst it's matter of opinion, and clearly many do like him, I struggle to find none disparaging words to describe his public persona, so I will just say, I really really don't like him at all, I cringe every time I see him on TV. Katie Hopkins on the other hand, is a despicable human being, media woman and all round nasty person.

Oh... that hurts my head... it's perfect and so so so utterly brilliant as an idea, but also... really? No, she's a horrible human being... but that's perfect for The Master... uh... no, it works and ... uh... no... yeah... no. Stop it! I need to not have my head filled with ideas like that.
