In Canada Monday October 10th is Thanksgiving. So I would like to wish everyone, especially our Canadian members a happy Thanksgiving weekend.
Hopefully you all get to enjoy a long weekend with family and friends.
Don't overdue it on the turkey and cranberries!

Happy Thanksgiving to Canadians!
Are turkey and cranberries traditional there as they are in the US?
Actually, saw on the news that cranberry farmers in Massachusetts are not doing so well this year because of the drought.
Enjoy the day

Can't have Thanksgiving or Christmas without cranberries and a gobbler.

Happy Thanksgiving! I'd rather have Thanksgiving on the 10th than Columbus Day, which is what our Oct. 10 holiday will be here in the US. But I like having Thanksgiving in November, so go figure.

If you had not posted this I wouldn't even have realized it was Columbus Day...no day off for me. Although it does mean the buses & subways will be less crowded plus I get a new Dorian Ep tomorrow so I am thankful for that. Happy Thanksgiving Canada!

I'll be sleeping in tomorrow and watching football in the afternoon. 😀
Maybe I'll try celebrating Thanksgiving again next month with our American friends. Certainly plan on watching the Thanksgiving football games.

Enjoy the day Wisconsin is having an above average cranberry harvest this year. They got all the rain. I think Canadians go to Tim Hortons for Thanksgiving.

I refuse to drink that swill.

I'm the oddball that doesn't enjoy cranberries with my turkey. Hot savory and cold & hot sweets; go to your separate corners please!

I love cranberries. I'll eat just about cranberry anything. What about pumpkin pie? Do Canadians eat pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving? Pumpkin is another thing I love in just about any form.

Of course we do (not one of my favourites though). It is a well known fact that Americans stole all the good Thanksgiving food ideas from us, but as Canadians we are far too polite to make an issue of it.

Belasted thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians! I had thanksgiving lunch and dinner on Sunday which was way too much food in just one meal, so double was a killer. However, it all tasted delicious and I had the chance to have a nice Monday catching up on TV/Movies!

Hey, coffeeaddict , what did you do for Thanksgiving this year? Oh, and happy (belated) Thanksgiving. It was horrible - I was held hostage by the cats and denied permission to get off the couch as they were busy sleeping on me. As a result I watched a lot of Canadian football and cleaned a few books from my reading pile.
