Because ina fit of why, figured to trudge this thread up, and tweak a little to talk about WHO DVD collecting and how you like to enjoy the New Series. Regular discs or blu rays? Standard or colelctor editions? Do you liek bonus gifts with you set?

My new Who physical collection consists of the bluray boxset of Series 1-7 (and the 2009 specials), they've got a much higher bitrate and vastly improved audio from the DVDs. It's not 1080p but it's still easily the best series 1-4 have ever looked and sounded. Then I've got the 50th Anniversary bluray boxset which sold out pretty fast and has all the 50th stuff from the special to Matt's last ep, Fiveish Doctors and An Adventure In Space And Time. Gorgeous set. Series 8 I have in the TARDIS specs slipcover limited set which makes the wheezing noise when pressed. Series 9 I have is the long OOP steelbook with Alice Zhang's amazing artwork. Don't have Doctor Mysterio as it'll be in the complete series 10 set. Also have the Deep Breath standalone on blu as it's got the Capaldi live announcement show exclusive to that set. For Nu-WHo that's it, though I do have the DVDs of Dreamland and Infinite Quest which count, I guess.
The classic series I've got all the DVDs officially released to date then recons on DVDr and the full set of the official audio CDs, with custom covers to match the rest of the DVD range. Then standard blurays of Spearhead, the TV Movie (1080i but again better than it's ever looked), Power Of The Daleks in blu-steelbook and the Cushing movies on bluray in the sold out twofer with both in one box with exclusive art on the slipcover. Would like the steelbooks of the individual films though. Then I've loads of, but by no means all of Mythmakers and a lot of BBV and Reeltime material. Would like to complete all that one day.
All of Torchwood in the Complete 1-4 bluray box and Class on blu too. I only have Sarah Jane on DVD but I know the last two are on blu. May update them one day.

Got everything on DVD, including the 50th box (which went OOP rapidly) plus the available Blurays that are needed, Spearhead, Power of the Daleks. Plus Downtime..because.
I wasn't that interested in getting the new series on Bluray initially because there's only so much upscaling actually works. Now, if for some reason the TV Movie got a REAL bluray release, from the actual film stock rather than what was released, then that's a no brainer.

Own nearly all the classic series, but not yet the new series. Shelf space is tight.
