As the first 24-hour Monster sale this weekend, we present a number of Doctor Who stories featuring the Daleks...
For the rest of the world, it's Black Friday, but here at Big Finish it's Black Dalek Friday - as we put a number of our Dalek stories at special offer prices for the next 24 hours:
Five of the Doctor's main-range battles with his notorious foe are each reduced to £5 on Download and £6 on CD (all unlocking access to digital versions) - choose from Brotherhood of the Daleks, Enemy of the Daleks, Patient Zero, Daleks Among Us and Masters of Earth. The special Return of the Daleks story is £2.99 on Download, and £5 for the CD, with all six of these stories available in a new bundle for £25 on Download, or £32 on CD.
The Daleks' presence on stage is represented by Doctor Who - Seven Keys to Doomsday, Doctor Who - The Curse of the Daleks, and Doctor Who - The Ultimate Adventure which are each £2.99 on Download and £5 on CD, or collected together in a bundle for £7.50 and £12 respectively.
Lastly, the Daleks' epic solo adventures of Dalek Empire are available as a selection of series bundles - series 1, 2 and 4 are all £12 on Download and £15 on CD, with series 3 specially priced at £20 and £24 respectively. Bundles collecting all four series are £60 on Download and £65 on CD. If you are using the free Big Finish app for either Android or iOS, you can be listening to these special offers within minutes!
This offer ends at mid-day (UK time) on Saturday 26th November, however keep watching the website for other monster offers all weekend. Our Doctor Who Magazine Poll Winners offers run through to mid-day Wednesday 30th November
I'd personally recommend Enemy of the Daleks and Masters of Earth

Huh. Just when I think I've run out of sale items to look forward to, I get a pleasant little surprise! I'm not really a big Dalek fan, but I nabbed Return of the Daleks to add to my almost complete 'Bonus Release' collection, and The Ultimate Adventure because I anticipate much cringing in my future (i.e. a purely morbid curiosity).
Also, I'll second Mark687's recommendations. Enemy of the Daleks and Masters of Earth alike are both well worth checking out!

Monster themed days are a neat way to do a long weekend sale. I wasn't sure if there would be much this weekend that I didn't have already, but I was pleasantly surprised. There were a couple of Dalek releases I needed, Masters of Earth and Return of The Daleks. Together with the DWM poll sale where I got The Sixth Doctor The Last Adventure and The Third Doctor Adventures vol. I, I made out very well today.

GREAT prices (never better) on the StagePlays and Dalek Empire: Series 4 bundles. Also, taking advantage of CD *bundling* without the additional £6.50 "per order charge" being added onto an international order provides some welcomed postage relief.

Seven keys and Ultimate Adventure have never appealed to me personally.

Are the stage plays any good? Those are the only sale items I don't own. You In terms of content the behind the scenes stuff is very interesting because it does in depth about adapting the material, with things like differences in attitude then and now.

I picked up the bundle of the 6 dalek stories, even though I have return of the daleks, it was still cheaper than buying them singly anywhere, and I picked up the whole run of dalek empire, ive been craving it a long time now. I sure wish BF had a cheaper shipping option though.
Glad I own cyberman, don't have to buy it Monday, but I'm looking forward to see what cd's they bundle up for the next 3 days.

I sure wish BF had a cheaper shipping option though. It is a discomforting reality, but £10 shipping for 6 MR Dalek titles + £18 shipping for 18 Dalek Empire stories - nowadays is a GOOD deal. To buy any 1 of those titles individually it will cost £8 shipping from Big Finish. When Dalek Empire: Series 5 sees the light of day, a pre-order subscription of it (assuming that it's not a box set) will currently cost £5 per CD to be internationally delivered. Back catalogue and pre-order bundling is our best friend.

The last package I got from BF was over 30 bucks in shipping, I checked all the options at the USPS and I could have sent it back for less than 8, there has got to be some better options in Britain isn't there? I have the option of shipping UPS Fed Ex USPS GPS and many others, is there no options over there? just asking.

Based on my personal experiences when buying from many British vendors (other than Book Depository's free international shipping) £10 (for 6 CDs) + £18 (for 18 CDs) is sadly, I hate to say it - a very good deal. However, £8 for 1 CD to be sent is highway robbery. And, £5 per 1-2CD set postage for monthly subscriptions from a commercial retailer that's accustomed to sending out mail orders on mass isn't great either.
