Hello again. Yipee, no sooner does The Good Place end then the very different and hugely enjoyable Inside No. 9 begins 22:00 GMT BBC2 and Iplayer. I really like the writing and acting in this. Every episode is different and written like a well-crafted watch.
EDIT: Back of the net! A great football-themed episode. A cracking cast tell an intriguing story about a referee refereeing his final match.

Not only that but we even get a little Who titbit - Reece obviously played Troughton in An Adventure In Time And Space and what does he say in tonight's ep? "Oh my giddy aunt!"

MASH: "The Interview" - Entirely in black and white, the 4077th personnel are interviewed by a war correspondent. Great finale, and a much better attempt to shake up the formula than "Hawkeye" was. It's just too bad Loretta Swit wasn't available because I'd have loved to see Houlihan's interview.
Columbo: "Now You See Him" - Jack Cassidy is back once again as a cabaret magician with a shady past who kills his boss. Tons of fun to watch, I really liked the stage magic setting. Was very sad reading that Cassidy passed away less than a year after this aired.

Columbo: "Last Salute to the Commodore" - What the hell was this supposed to be? The first time I've seen this show turn out such horrible garbage. Tediously paced, far too much repetition of dialogue, and a cast of characters (including Columbo himself) who act so strangely I was beginning to wonder if everyone was drunk the entire shoot. The only salute this one deserves is the one-finger version.

Star Trek Picard episode 3. A lot better than episode 2 which felt like it was treading water.

Star Trek Picard episode 3. A lot better than episode 2 which felt like it was treading water. Agreed. The first three episodes easily could have been two episodes.

MASH: Season 5, Episodes 1-2 - Moving day for the 4077th; Margaret has big news. The second episode of this season (well, third if you wanna count "Bug Out" as two) marks the 100th episode. Sure doesn't feel like we've watched 100 of 'em. That actually bodes well for the future; I was worried by Season 11 we'd be so sick of the show we wouldn't enjoy it anymore.

MASH: Season 5, Episodes 3-4 - Hawkeye gets a faceful of exploding stove; Radar gets a promotion. One of these is much preferable to the other...
Columbo: "Fade in to Murder" - Season 6 gets off to a much better start than the down note of "Last Salute." How can I say no to William Shatner and Walter Koenig? Shatner plays an actor playing a famous TV detective who kills his producer. While I did enjoy it, things kinda go off the rails in the last act, as Shatner's character apparently loses his mind.

First episode of Locke And Key, I love the concept of the house with magical keys! It’s a very imaginative premise that gives me Coraline vibes😊 But I don’t love all the focus on forced awkwardly written teen drama 🤔😕 Going to stick with it though because I love the mystery of the house and all the strange keys😊

Curb Your Enthusiasm: "Artificial Fruit" - The teeth dreams are back.
Picard: "The End is the Beginning" - Trash. The downward trend continues.

This is now on Amazon Prime. Not seen these before, very odd presentation with silly skits distracting from the actual interviews.

‘Sick of It’
Say what you will about the quality of the series itself, but there is something about this exaggerated, extremely depressed version of Karl Pilkington that resonates with me.
Maybe I’m just getting cynical though.

Hello again.
Just a warning folks. Do not watch Inside No 9 Death Be Not Proud, if you are of a nervous disposition. Truly disturbing tonight, and yet as always there is a hint of pathos, but still rather a grim episode. Great performances from Jenna Coleman,Kadiff Kirwan,Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Sarah Solemani. However, fans of the macabre will love it.

What a wonderful, wonderful idea and David & Maureen's story from that lends itself so wonderfully to this format. The sinister ping pong balls here were the things that made me laugh harder than anything in Psychoville during THAT Simply THe Best routine. It's an ep that works anyway but the gags like them miming to Black Lace and Mr Jelly turning up are only gonna be any use for PVille fans. Brilliant stuff.
