I've also started watching Lost for the first time over the last couple of weeks, but I'm only getting to watch that sporadically as we're doing a group watch thing ("group watch" being just me and my housemates). Got to say, I'm not really digging it. I think we're about 10 episodes in and I'm just not seeing what made this "must see" TV. It's really slow, almost to the point where basically nothing seems to have happened yet (or maybe it has but it's so cryptic I'm not supposed to know yet... but if I'm not supposed to think anything has happened yet, where's the incentive to keep watching?). We keep getting backstory stuff and I just don't really care about any of the characters. I only like Charlie and Hurley; everyone else is either bland, annoying, or simply not interesting to me. I don't know if we're going to stick with as only one of the three of us really wants to watch it, and it's the guy who's seen it before. He's trying to convince us it's worth sticking with but I don't see the other person watching it to the end - she likes the same characters as me but never wanted to watch it in the first place (I've always had a bit of an interest). I'll be very surprised if we stick with it through to the end. I might come back to it one day, but I don't think I'll be in any hurry (unless someone can convince me it actually becomes interesting). Lost. One of the worst shows of all time.

MASH: Season 7, Episodes 16-18 - I'm of two minds about that Inga episode (Emmy-winning!, proclaimeth the DVD). I don't buy what seems like the entire camp yelling at Hawkeye for not respecting women. It seems a little off given the previous 7 seasons of gleeful debauchery. I did like the relationship between the two of them and I think I'd have preferred them to work it out between themselves instead of the camp making a public spectacle of it. Although it did let Father Mulcahy drop his sickest burn of the series, so that's a plus.

Hello again bambinos!
Yes, the farcical fun of Friday Night Dinner is back on Channel 4/All4. The misadventures of a Jewish family who meet for dinner every Friday.
The poor mother has to put up with her sons playing childish pranks on each other, her eccentric husband and very odd neighbour.
It takes a bit of time to get used to, but is great fun to watch as an odd little funny sitcom.

MASH: Season 7, Episodes 19-21 - Aww, see, Margaret and Hawk really are friends now, not that they'd ever admit it. Also kinda sad to see that Col Flagg has taken his last bow, he was always a hoot every time he turned up. Apparently he shows up once on AfterMASH but I'm not gonna bother with that lol

Hello again.
Did you ever toddle down to the corner shop to run an errand for your parents or spend your pocket money on sweeties? Then I have the programme for you. Back in time for the Corner Shop is a social history programme that takes an ordinary family and gives them the chance to experience running a corner shop through the decades. The programme takes the family from the late Victorian era to the mid-Ninties with an extra programme looking at future developments in our local shop.
The family are refreshingly down to earth and there is a lot of commentary from people who lived at differnt times in the life of the corner shop. An excellent series on BBCIplayer for the next month.

Fawlty Towers: Series 2, Episodes 1-2 - Absolute genius and perfection as always. It's not often laugh til your cry is not only literal, it's a guarantee. And then there's this.
MASH: Season 7, Episodes 22-23 - So, this is the infamous "Preventive Medicine" episode that was an accidental remake of a prior one, leading to so much embarrassment when they realized their mistake, they scheduled it against the Oscars that year so no one would see it. Which is interesting because we've been starting to see recycled ideas more frequently of late and I'm not so sure this episode was all that much more notable in that department than some others. Luckily the episodes are still pretty enjoyable and there's plenty of new stuff in the mix.

Curb Your Enthusiasm: "The Spite Store" - Great finale to another great season. I couldn't help but marvel at the huge amounts of hand sanitizer on display, it would be worth a fortune online these days...
I remember way back when, in ancient times, Larry David said Curb would be 10 seasons of 10 episodes for a total of 100, and that would be the end of it. Now that we've reached that number (plus the original special) I wonder if he intends to make good on that and end the show. I bet if you asked him even he couldn't tell you. And if he did, would you believe him?

I'm watching The Witcher and really enjoying it. There's a great tone and sense of fun to the series, even though some of it is very dark. And having Josette Simon in the cast is a plus!

The latest MacGyver.. Always a good episode when the original "Robocop" actor Peter Weller is involved..
The conspiracy theory/theme of this season has been exposed.. It's a doozy, especially in this current real world climate.!

Finally caught up on about two months worth of Arrowverse shows, and the same worth of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Onward to play catch-up with The Walking Dead now.

Watched (and still watching) the BBC's 1960's anthology Sci Fi TV series 'Out Of The Unknown'. What a pity so many episodes are lost.

Fawlty Towers: Series 2, Episodes 3-5 - "Mr Fawlty, I don't wanna work here no more..."
MASH: Season 7, Episodes 24-25 - That family reunion party is a sweet note to end the season on.
