I really like this one. It reminds me of those Target Companions stories that they did for a while, giving us a new stories for Turlough and Harry and novelizing K-9 and Company. It's like Ian gets his own "New Adventure of Ian Chesterton." I really wish that we'd have more CC's like this, and it's one of the reasons why I'm sad to see the series go. I'm really interested in what the companions did after leaving the Doctor, and I'd love to see more of that. The story itself is a love letter to the first two seasons of Doctor Who. It's so much fun experiencing these jumbled adventures as Ian remembers them. The threat is a decent one, although I feel that they telegraph the twist a bit to early. The main thing that makes this story awesome though is that the classic analysis is turned on its head. Everyone comments on how Ian and Barbara changed the Doctor. The one thing that no one ever talks about is how the Doctor changed Ian and Barbara. That is a wonderful moment with a huge payoff for anyone who loves those early stories. Did anyone else have some thoughts on this one? Anyone pick it up as part of the CC sale a bit ago? I put a few more thoughts here.

I would love to see regular CC's because as you said, it was like the companions had their own stories to tell, after leaving the doctor.
As far as the Time Museum goes, if you want to relive early Doctor Who, then this is about as good as it gets, when it comes to Big Finish. William Russell is great, and it's a really solid story, with lots of memories of Ian and Barbara's time in the tardis.
