Hey everyone,
In 2019. It is happening. It has been said. Big Finish will be celeberating twenty years of doing new Doctor Who stories! "Lots of monsters." Says Nick. Cryptically. What do we think these anniversary releases might be?

Something similar to Sirens of Time, where all the Doctors are involved but don't meet up until the end, could be cool. After all, Big Finish has four more Doctors than they had when they made Sirens of Time, not counting the recast versions of the first three.

A year long story arc with all Doctors (old and new), all Masters and a partridge in a pear tree
I'll get my coat ...
Cheers

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I don't really mind, as if Nick is involved there will be Daleks somewhere, so I'll be happy enough with that.
A few follow-up stories to some of the early main range titles would be nice for the anniversary though.

A story featuring the Silence? They haven't done one of those.

Dodo Chaplet: Dalek Hunter. I want a story where Dodo meets a newer Doctor, but doesn't realize that he looks different until halfway through the story. On a related note, did she ever notice that the TARDIS was bigger on the inside?

On a related note, did she ever notice that the TARDIS was bigger on the inside? Both these ideas seem a kinder idea of what might happen to Dodo than Virgin Publishing reckoned....

What do we think these anniversary releases might be? Sirens of Time 2: Siren Harder. Don't be silly. They won't riff off an earlier audio, they'll come up with an entirely fresh idea, like "Harpies of Space". OK, in all seriousness, I reckon Bernice will turn up in every "Doctor Who" line - River Song, Jago & Litefoot, the Main Range, Companion Chronicles, the works. And, who knows, perhaps some new old Doctors?

You have to think it will be multi Doctor for sure. I for one would love a comic book style 12 part maxi series with several spinoffs that add to the main story while also being standalone.

The only thing I can think that they can do is to team up lots of monsters with lots of Doctors and Companions - which they've already done several times. That, I imagine, is the trouble of providing interesting audios for such a long time and often to such high quality - what can you possibly do to 'top' what has already been done?
As it is Big Finish's anniversary, perhaps THEIR monsters should all get together. So we have, what, the Viyrans, The Eminence, the Dar Traders, the Slithergees, the Galyari ... I'm not sure how much these creations would be a draw for anyone not familiar with BF, but that needn't matter. This is Big Finish's celebration, no one else's. Just ... let's not have Nick Briggs voicing them all!
Pure speculation, of course, and the more I think about it, the less likely it seems.

Throw in some Porcians and Rocket Men and you've got a deal!
