I want a story where Dodo meets a newer Doctor, but doesn't realize that he looks different until halfway through the story. On a related note, did she ever notice that the TARDIS was bigger on the inside? Both these ideas seem a kinder idea of what might happen to Dodo than Virgin Publishing reckoned.... I just looked that up. What the hell, Virgin?

Even the cover I thought went far beyond what Doctor Who's remit should be and on reading it I was completely shocked in some of the directions it went - especially with Dodo. That was pushing the envelope for any bit of mainstream sci-fi much less a Doctor Who story. Hated it. Then I re-read it about 10 year ago. It was still far too provocative and completely at-odds with Who as an idea much less a television show but......I kinda loved it for being so ballsy. So impossibly nihilistic. It was saying "The show's dead - we're making our own thing here with the books" in a much more on-the-nose way than the VNAs. I love fiction that takes huge - even stupid - risks so much more than safe, trad storytelling. The book followed quite hot on the heels of Oliver Stone's JFK and the books structure took a lot of inspiration from the Jim Garrison source material - violent, sexual crime inclusive.

I'd love what I know I'll never get from the TV show. The Doctor on a good old romp through time and space catching up with all his old companions! 10 visiting Jamie, 8 picking up Jo Jones and running away for an adventure, 5 meeting up with Polly & Ben etc I know there have been odd stories of this sort but I'd just love to see something honouring all the amazing companions!

The Doctors all try and attend Ian and Barbara's weddding while at the same time avoiding each other, each Doctor deals with a different problem - there's a Dalek in the crypt beneath the church, the priests actually the McQueen Master, Rocket Men have stolen the rings etc etc. In the end Ian and Barbara never turn up, because they eloped.

The ultimate BF experience! Benny Summerfield embarks herself in the ultimate quest to save the multiverse from a terrible enemy, and to do so she starts recruiting allies, starting in the 19th century where she picks up Jago,Litefoot,Sherlock Holmes and Dorian Gray. She also will need her old friend the Doctor but some event makes a bunch of his incarnations appear together and they bring only their audio companions (except the 4TH who brings a talking cabbage). Unit, Torchwood and Counter Measures unify their forces to defend the Earth and the High Council of Gallifrey send Romana, Leela, Narvin and Ace to protect the timelines During the journey through the multiverse, we encounter a ravaged Earth due a flu virus and some groups of people struggling for survival, an Earth populated by supernatural occurrences in the village of Collinsport and numerous other places Amy and Zara can prove to be valuable allies and Benny's old drinking friend Iris is there too... That sounds like a glorious mess when can I buy?

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Would it be too much to have Section 7 investigate Collinsport at some point?

Or every single character admits at some point to having a time where a pleasant and incredibly knowledgable chap came and spoke to them for about 30 - 60 minutes about their lives and asked them pointed questions about their interactions with the Doctor. Fearing some sort of plot against him, all the Doctors investigate and surround the perpetrator. It's called, "Who's Around Toby Hadoke." ... ... I'll see myself out.

Don't forget the part where the bad guys imprison our heroes in a strange Village where their names are replaced with numbers. This actually makes addressing the various Doctors much simpler. The War Doctor, however, insists "I am not a number. I am a monster who doesn't deserve a number."

The parallel Earths sequences could be part of Alt-3 taking Benny to her home universe, his TARDIS being so broken down it can only make jumps between universes now rather than one long haul.

Hey everyone,
In 2019. It is happening. It has been said. Big Finish will be celeberating twenty years of doing new Doctor Who stories! "Lots of monsters." Says Nick. Cryptically. What do we think these anniversary releases might be? They will struggle to surpass The Light at the End, but it is good to hear that they are working on a Monster Doctor Who release for the anniversary! I hope that as part of the celebration they also release a 20th Anniversary Special Edition of The Sirens of Time. And if they can add an extra disc for adventures for The Fourth & The Eighth Doctor with Sarah Mowat it would be even better, but regardless it deserves a Special Edition release with a new cover, altered intro music and some interview extras. Also it would be nice if they made the 2019 multi-Doctor release in the monthly range a quadrilogy with Benny as the link. Seeing as she basically started it all for the Doctor.

Well, Rory would be the doctors father in law. Reminds me of the song, I'm my own grandpa, by Ray Stephens. Anyway.
A story with Rory, Amy and Tom Baker, could be HUGE! They could see the tardis, their keys still work, but who is the strange looking man with the freaky eyes, the frizzy hair, the long scarf and a smile that makes him look insane? That story could really mess up your mind.

Oh, I actually really liked Who Killed Kennedy, but more for its idea of "What would UNIT look like from the outside?" and the concept of something going on behind the scenes of multiple stories (although I liked Big Finish's take on that - The Last Post - more). The darker stuff was horrifying and all a bit Grim Nineties (and obviously there are things that wouldn't read the same these days) but it is ballsy, as you say. (It's important to note that I read it in 2015. Different time, different expectations. And I vaguely knew what happened to Dodo going in.)

I meant Peter Davison and David Tennant.
I think it'd be a cool to do a box set of match-ups. Four total episodes, each in the 2h range, with one overall arc - like a Doom Coalition set but twice the length.
4 and 8 5 and 10 6 and 7 1, 2, and 3 (Since 1 wasn't really much of a part of The Three Doctors....)
The Light At The End worked, but only because a few docs didn't get much air time, and the others worked in pairs. Even then, it was a little frantic (though I enjoyed it quite a bit). I'd like to have pair-ups get to interact over a longer period (and, hopefully, improvize in the studio).

I'm predicting a multi Doctor story boxset with Classic and New Who Doctors, and a special M.R Trilogy sequel/sidequel to Sirens Of Time with Benny or Jago and Lightfoot involved somehow.
