Loved it, just a terrific release. I thought every part of it was well done; I have exactly 0 complaints. Big Finish, if you're reading: please do more of these! More Cicero would be lovely, and so would Classics/adaptations of a great many stories from the late Republic and early Empire

In honor of today's release, another quote from the file folder, Marcus Tullius Cicero Justice consists in doing no injury to men; decency in giving them no offense.

Could someone please fix the spelling error in the thread title? It's been driving me nuts since the thread first appeared

History lives in this wonderful procedual. Absousetly fantastic and it's nice to see Big Finish put their revival money into projects like this. Fingers crossed Cicero makes it to series.
Guys, if you can, we really have to support Big Finish with projects like this.

It was very well done, and I have a feeling it will only get better.

I absolutely loved this. It was a perfect way to end the week. Now I'll just be sad if there are no plans for more.

Wow....love this, it's like a 90's R4 production, reminded me of Falco, given the setting and time period that's not surprising.
Everything about it was 1st class apart from 1......what a rubbish story, sorry I know it's based on real accounts etc but I like my crime drama with a few maguffins & red herrings. (Ducks for cover)
But that aside was a great release, more more more please

I enjoyed this story and the different personalities of the Cicero brothers. It's hard to say how much of the mystery was a surprise (I started to figure it out partway through) as I've studied Cicero and also read the novel Roman Blood by Steven Saylor, based on the same case.
Two things they got wrong: the name Pulcher is not pronounced with a ch sound but a hard c. Also, Falernian was quite an exspensive and prestigous wine, Trimalchio serves it in the Satyricon.
Favorite quotes: "You're blaming the murder on Sophocles?" and "Maybe someone forgot to put a line over the M's."
Favorite scene, where Quintus gives Marcus some writing and oratory tips.
Will be thinking about this in a few weeks when we cover Sulla's dictatorship and the proscriptions.
Great performances, I hope they make more!

Not Bad at all
A semi-regular series would be acceptable.

Fantastic news (except for poor David Llewellyn being locked away in a Cardiff cupboard. That doesn't sound very nice - plus it's likely to give my Welsh wife ideas). :-)

They really should have announced this on the Ides of March, wrong leader, but it still would have been funny.
