One's a nice character study for Nyssa, one's a hoot of a panto, and one's a genuinely interesting Gallifrey tale that wraps up the first Charley arc and sets up Zagreus.

Completely agree, and for the same reasons. I think those are the best 3 of the ones listed, with Zagreus being something completely different. You really should hold off on it until you've heard Neverland anyway.

The Mutant Phase, The One Doctor and Neverland would be my picks from that list. They are all very enjoyable stories and definitely worth £2.99 in anyone's money.
Also, The One Doctor is a must listen story for the Christmas holidays!

imo, if you intend to eventually get around to it and do want to splurge, I'd set aside some money until you can get them all via subscription. The first 50 are quite cheap compared to the usual.

I've already got most of them on a mixture of CD, download, and cassette, so these are pretty much what is left.

For me, The Mutant Phase, The One Doctor and Neverland but I'm also partial to The Sandman

It's really hard to choose, but I'd say The Mutant Phase (for a genuinely brutal depiction of the Daleks), Primeval (for its meditations on the nature of good and evil) and The One Doctor (for just being straight out fun). Neverland is definitely one worth getting if you've listened to all the Charley stories leading up to it and The Sandman is an absolutely spellbinding final step on Sixy's road to recovery (with a feeling that it's Doctor Who by way of The Dark Crystal), but it's not really one for the holiday season unless you want a bit of darkness.

If its strictly 3
The One Doctor (Brilliant Comedy)
Primeval
(Excellent Drama)
Neverland
(Its actually a very good season finale to that 8th Doc/Charley season)
if you stretch to 4
Zagreus
(Its needed if you've heard Neverland but its not to everyone's taste)

So much depends on your taste here, but my suggestions would be 'The Mutant Phase', 'The One Doctor', and 'The Sandman'.

These three are what i would suggest as well. and If you can stretch to a fourth then go for Zagreus as it does pay off alot of other bits, but the other three are what i'd go for

Aside from that, you can't really go wrong with any of the others. Unless you're part of the "I hated Zagreus" camp. It was a challenging story and very long.

Yeah, Zagreus is divisive to say the least. As cool as it is to get Seven, Benny and Ace, The Dark Flame feels as though it may have the wrong companion team at the helm. Even if it did later give us The Draconian Rage.

Wasn't The Dark Flame the one that Lisa Bowerman referred to as a "marmite" episode? I seem to remember something like that from one of her interviews.

You will need to buy Zagreus if you buy never Neverland so be wary of that. There's a huge cliffhanger between them.

Hello again.
If you hate January and are cold and fed up of the TV preaching at you to become a new you, I have the solution.
The One Doctor is a very serious and scary adventure starring Sixie and Mel.
It concerns a dangerous quest and an evil cunning imposter. It will grip you with its twists and turns. A thrilling rollercoaster of a Doctor Who story.
No! This story is really very very silly. It has ridiculous characters and stereotypically 'funny' sci-fi settings. It is not 'proper' Doctor Who. Avoid this story.
Now which review is the correct. Hee...hee...hee... Enjoy!
