I'm probably going purchase a few more EDA's for my (near completion) collection, but I want to knock a few quid off the postage costs (yes they are pre-owned anyway but I'm trying to get them as cheaply as possible ), out of the following which would you drop and wait for a cheaper listing?: Fear Itself The Adventuress Of Henrietta Street History 101 Camera Obscura Last Resort (I've learned to be patient with 2nd Hand books I paid about £15 for Vampire Science I think, and a couple of months later it was down to a few quid...)

Adventuress is crucial to the Arcs
Camera and History are both very good reads
Hope that helps.

Cheers, any opinions on the stories themselves? I loved Alien Bodies but had very mixed feelings about the Interference novels...

I enjoyed Adventuress and Camera and History, the most straightforward read is Fear Itself as it no other Arc elements in it at all (though are you reading them in order and if so where are you up to)?

Regards mark687 I'm currently reading Anachrophobia and have read all the stories preceding (Adventuress excluded), I already have a scattering of future titles (Domino Effect, Book Of The Still, Trading Futures and Crooked World I think) but I'm trying to read them in chronological order, though depending on price listings I've occasionally skipped forward a bit.

Yeah I've been looking at reviews and those are the three I've gone for. Cheers. (Mods might as well delete this thread, though a proper thread on the BBC EDA's could be fun...)

Adventuress is marmite. In fact, it's marmite from bite to bite. When I first read it, I didn't like it. However, as I was on a driving holiday and all the book stores I went to only had Who novels I'd already owned, I was forced to reread it. And loved it. I reread it again a few months later. Meh. And again a year or so after that, no it's good.
