Radio 4 Extra's occasional rebroadcast of the Nest Cottage Saga recommences for the final time next Monday, with the final series, "Serpent Crest". This is the one where David Troughton joined Tom Baker, Susan Jameson and Richard Franklin for the final two stories.

Yay, I can finish this saga.
So far I think it's underrated, Hornets Nest was quite good and Demon Quest was decent (nothing amazing but entertaining). Looking forward to this.

I ddn't like Serpent Crest to be honest, but i'll give it another listen next week as it's on the radio.

Hello again.
Loved Serpent's Crest. It is typical Paul Magrs. Leftfield, completely bonkers at times but a really enjoyable set of adventures that link together.
A super ending to a fascinating and unusual trilogy.
