I rewatched Hell Bent a couple of days ago and a thought sprung to mind; could there be space for a story set between when Clara leaves the Doctor in the desert and when he arrives at the diner!TARDIS? He clearly already knows that the TARDIS is not in London anymore and has managed to get his hands on a guitar, so enough time has passed. Maybe a couple of days? A week? Maybe the man takes him home and gives him something to eat, and before he can finish his soup (I mean, after 4.5 billion years and then again on Gallifrey, it's sort of a thing now XD) something happens, aliens invade the Nevada desert, the military is doing tests underground, or whatever. So yeah, I think it could be an interesting gap to explore, with the Doctor slowly coming to terms with the memory loss. And, I mean, "Man" would make for such a great companion That reminds me, I really must get around to buying the Capaldi episodes on Blu ray...keep waiting for a Amazon sale... If Big Finish can find room to slot in a whole other story between near consecutive scenes in The Five Doctors they would have no problems finding gaps to mine or explore with the 12th Doctor, the majority of his stories aren't even explicitly consecutive with each other, nothing to say he didn't have decades or even centuries worth of adventures between adventures with Clara, or the S9/Husbands-S10 gaps. Heck, you could probably even slot in a few stories during Deep Breath when he temporarily leaves Clara to sort out the tardis/new costume...

That's what I love about this era (and Moffat's in general); there are so many gaps for BF to mine! There are three different gaps just between the ending of DB and Into the Dalek! And talking about the S9-Husbands gap, I hope BF gets to further explore the exclusive to audio brother and sister companion duo Alex and Brandon Yow as they've briefly done with Fitz and Izzy (and should do with Roz and Chris and Josie Days ).

Just seen a clip of Jenna Coleman at a panel, I will try and find a link to the whole thing. She says she wouldn’t do big finish due to a bad experience with them! I don’t know if this refers to not like audio or big finish themselves, perhaps during recording of the Time Machine. Any one else heard rumours of this kind about Jenna?

Which would be strange because wasn't Destiny of the Doctors a BBC Audio Go production, just released through Big Finish? or have I got that wrong
If you find the link, I'd love to see it

The line at the end always said “this was a big finish Production for audiogo”
I hope this isn’t true as I’d really love some eleventh doctor and Clara audios, for some reason, I really liked that pair

I saw someone posted something on one of the FB groups about this. From what I gather it was the style of the audio, Companion Chronicles style, that Coleman didn't enjoy. I don't think she much liked having to impersonate Matt Smith. Anyway, that is my takeaway from what I read.

I'd say that makes more Companion Chronicles style releases with her unlikely, but she could be open to future full cast audios. I can't say I'm really desperate for more Clara, though. Not that I disliked her, but she stayed for quite a while, and I'd much prefer more Bill and Nardole or original companions.

I'd like more Clara, but I'd prefer her with Eleven, as opposed to Twelve. Not that I dislike Twelve and Clara together, but we had a lot of adventures with those two. I'd prefer more stories with Eleven/Clara set after TNOTD and before TDOTD, since they seem to have been travelling on and off for a while by that point and don't have the Impossible Girl mystery hanging over them. I adored Eleven and Clara in TDOTD and TTOTD, so it's such a shame that they only really flourished in Eleven's last two episodes, and then they're both plot-heavy episodes rather than fun standalones.
But yeah, if we get Twelve at BF, I'd prefer more Bill and Nardole or original companions first and foremost, and then maybe some Twelve and Clara down the line.

It was a co-production between BF, as Classic Who licensee, and AudioGo (the New Who licensee). I don't know how the work was divided, but I strongly suspect that Big Finish were responsible for scripts and cast and production and actually making it. Notoriously, AudioGo protected themselves against BF going bust by putting a 'tontine' clause in the contract that if one company went under, the other would inherit the entire property. AudioGo, of course, didn't survive beyond... what, episode ten or eleven? (Maybe the JLC was put in the same dirty booth as John Levene?!)

Still holding out hope for Perkins to make a glorious return one day. Seconded. It would be great if BF could engineer that. And more Twelve / Bill / Nardole please, any story format - CCs, STs, full cast series (I dare to dream...) as soon as the licence allows and even one of the actors is available.

Wouldn't the 12th Doctor's scary eyebrows technically be under the current license due to the cameo in TDOTD? Maybe they could get permission for a cheeky off-screen cameo (Though I have a feeling with might be seeing that cameo again from a different perspective at Christmas-seems like the timey wimey thing Moffat would go out with...)

I see what you did there But yes I agree, Perkins was great one of the most instantly likeable guest characters in recent series, Frank Skinner doesn't have that much acting experience but he held his own against Capaldi and as with Nardole Perkins was an older male character who worked against the Doctor's authority and added some comedy, he'd make an interesting full time companion i.m.o, or perhaps I just like the idea of 2 grumpy 50 year olds travelling around in the tardis geeking out over technology...

Still holding out hope for Perkins to make a glorious return one day. If it was to happen it should have been during the main show.
