I was wandering about YouTube and lo and behold I found some old highlights from the Panopticon '93 convention, apparently one of the largest of its kind. There's something utterly charming about seeing youthful familiar faces (including a BBV-era Nick Briggs) and those who have sadly left us like dear Jon Pertwee, Mary Tamm and Nick Courtney. Jon and Colin had a wonderful rapport, so did Mary and Lalla and it's nice to see how fond everyone is of everybody. Well worth the look.

Neat! The whole thing was two years before I was born, so I've only got the video to go on. Any fond memories?

Out of curiosity, how much older did you think I was? I usually get late fifties or thereabouts.

T'was four years before I was born I found these videos about six months ago and churned through all of them in a few hours. It was so nice to see some of these people again (especially Michael Craze, who died three days before my first birthday, meaning I never really knew him as 'alive', if you know what I mean; much the same was true for Jon Pertwee - he clearly loved the role and impression he made with it!). For those who weren't there/haven't see it, these videos are definitely worth watching

Ooooof.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHQ1k1hipUEHighlights P7: Fielding was sure opposed to reviving Who. (Starts about half-way through). I suppose Big Finish's later tweak to the "formula" must've satisfied her... Looks like there are at least 10 parts of highlights on youtube.
