Thread where you ask for advice.
I'm working on a short film with a group of eight students including myself at the moment. Tomorrow we return the equipment to uni. This group were unhappy that I was unable to turn up to the equipment pick-up the Monday before the shoot and expect me to help with the equipment drop-off.
The problem is that whilst I want to help out the drop-off is 8:15 and I'm travelling from Scarborough to York. The reason I told them before was that it was extra expense just to pick equipment up plus I was only told of the pick up time at short notice but the producer posted a rather intimidating message to me in reply. So what should I tell them? There is no way I can get there for 8:15.

I quickly looked at the train schedule and one takes you from Scarborough to York form 7 to 7:47 am. Now if you couldn't make that time, I think that you need to tell everyone else in your group why you aren't able to come and then I think depending on their response you go from there. Hope this helped a bit.

Even that would be pushing it though because the bus to the university takes between 20-25 minutes from the station, so I likely wouldn't get there in time unless there was a bus outside right away. To be honest I can't really say anything yet because I only overheard the producer telling someone else the time for dropping off, she hasn't actually told me the timing.

Well I hope it all works out.

Yes.
The truth
I've been in the same situation.
A good finished film and project is more important than logistics that feel like the end of the world at the time.

I did that and they didn't say anything so seems to have been fine.

Tell her to try & find a amicable solution instead of being a grade A bitch, messages of intimidation mate that's just pure cyber bullying.
