I thought it'd be a nice idea to thank Big Finish for certain things they've done during their time.
Thank you Big Finish for the War Doctor range. How irresistible to have John Hurt as the Doctor in four sets that comprise such a rich and varied series of adventures. The range has had eight different writers across twelve episodes, with each set portraying a completely different side to an absolutely bonkers war. We've had the basic ground battles, the high concept weapons, the espionage and in just a few days time we'll deal with the casualties.
It's been a thrill. Thank you Big Finish for that. What would you like to thank Big Finish for?

Thank you Big Finish for that. What would you like to thank Big Finish for? I'd thank BF for helping to keep Doctor Who alive during the wilderness years and enabling us to hear those classic Doctors in action once again...

For giving Paul McGann the chance to truly establish the Eighth Doctor and giving me so so many adventures with him, and for giving Colin Baker the chance to do the things and have the run he had originally hoped for with the Sixth Doctor.

Thank you, Big Finish, for opening up a whole new world for me. The Doctor Who Universe is so vast in size and rich in people and stories. To think I may not have discovered this bounty without you.
And also thank you Big Finish, for the people I have met through your forums. You folks are my second big and crazy family, even though I've only met 1 or 2 of you in person so far.

Yes, absolutely! Thank you Big Finish for weaving the impossible and fashioning into reality, for giving numerous men, women and their characters the opportunity to live and soar through space as they never really did. Thank you for respecting, honouring and treasuring those vast cosmoses we hold dear from Doctor Who to Judge Dredd. Thank you for bringing together one of the most eclectic (and dare I say divergent) families on the internet in an inventive, welcoming and generous environment that stretched wide, far beyond the chrysalis of its original home. Lastly, thank you for getting me through the roughest tenure of my life so far, I would not be here without the efforts of you lovely people and your passions. With great love and great respect, keep up the splendid work.

Thank you Big Finish for taking care with every corner of the Doctor Who universe and handling all of it with the genuine love and the attention it deserves. Working to make even less popular companions, Doctors, or villians of Who blossom with great stories has made me love so many elements that I previously had not fully appreciated.

Thanyou Big Finish for:
-Providing me with a wonderful introduction to the audio drama format - Your interesting and often hilarious podcasts - Constantly expanding on the characters, worlds and arcs from Classic and New Who, giving new life and dimensions to so many beloved characters all these decades later - So many wonderful and surprising stories which at times is arguably the best Who we've ever had - Being such a professional, well oiled company, but also one that hasn't lost site of his connections with the fanbase - Indirectly giving rise to this forum, I don't know any of the people who post here in real life (even any of their names) but I've had a lot of fun posting and discussing all manner of subjects here in the last year and a bit. - Giving Colin Baker the strong writing he always deserved and the chance to develop his Doctor in ways he was never able to do on TV - Giving McGann an chance to properly establish and develop the 8th Doctor and giving me 'my' Doctor because of it. - But about all, thank you for being so awesome.

Thank you Big Finish for giving me new stories with 'my' Third Doctor and Jo.
I enjoyed 'The Mega' but thought it was a one-off and then along came Tim Treloar and Katy Manning and suddenly I have the fun of a range to anticipate...
(So could the Third Doctor Adventures please now get their own 'plaque' on the BF wall of ranges alongside the the 4DA, 8DA, etc.?)

Let me know when you want me to crush your/our little dreams... Only way I know of, is if they find a place in the cannon where they could insert a new companion for 3. Somewhere tween Jo and Sarah Jane, I recon. Cause I don't think getting Treolar is a problem, but getting Manning is getting a bit more difficult, or so I hear.

What would you like to thank Big Finish for? So much Who, so often better than the TV stuff. With few exceptions, I find their releases somewhere between "good, enjoyable" and "holy ****, that was something else!" I'm almost never bored. When they miss, which is rare, I'm simply not as happy as when they hit. (Unlike the new series, where I join Timelord007 in wanting to throw my TV out the damn window on occasion). Even their Doctor re-casts are great! They loved the show and they continued it. Dare I say that they bested it? I cannot think of another anything that managed that for 18 years and is still going just as strong. (ok ok, other than Tolkein's writing). The lot of them should be knighted.
