In Kings Cross London, on March 19, 20 and 21st, will be an evening of short plays written by Alan Flanagan (writer of Carriage of the Damned, and co-writer of Bloodlust and Bloodline) and produced and directed by Dilek Latif (The Devil Cat and The Happier Dead).
Dark Shadows audio stars Matthew Waterhouse and Michael Shon (aw - father and son) are among the cast.
As part of their ‘Spotlight On The W riter’ series, DL Productions returns this March with an
evening of theatre and film, sci-fi and low-fi, from the dramatic to the farcical -- all by one writer.
Alan Flanagan has established himself as one of London’s most exciting voices, working as a writer,
script editor and season showrunner on the audio drama Dark Shadows (BBC Audio Drama Of The
Year shortlist), writing and performing for the Edinburgh Fringe and Dublin Gay Theatre Festival
(Best New Writing winner) and staging shows at the Southwark Playhouse, Theatre 503, Camden
People’s Theatre and more.
He is currently turning his talents to television and actively developing several series -- but
FLANAGANZA is an opportunity for him to cut loose and showcase his skill, range and certifiable
madness over the course of one evening. The evening will also premiere his most recent film work,
short ‘The Charm’, starring Laura Whitmore (ITV) and Brendan O’Rourke (Game Of Thrones).
DL Productions, led by director and producer Dilek Latif, recently showcased the work of Joseph
Lidster (Torchwood - ITV, W izards vs. Aliens - BBC) as part of their ‘Spotlight’ series, while their
latest production ‘The Awakening’ was nominated for 4 Offies.
Within the confines of the beautiful and innovative SLAM theatre in King’s Cross, FLANAGANZA
promises to be an evening to remember -- and we’d be honoured if you’d come along for the ride.
