What are some moments you forgot about but loved when you rewatched an episode?
Personally, of all things, one of the few Ten and Rose moments I love is in Fear Her when the Doctor is trapped in a picture and Rose is talking to him. It's one of the few times in that season where Rose felt like an actual person and not a Mary Sue fanfic character.

Girl in the Fireplace - the Doctor finds himself in a scared little girl's bedroom and just reassures her. He doesn't prat about, he just reassures her.

Girl in the Fireplace was full of these "oh yeah I loved that!" moments on a second watch. The biggest one for me was "What's pre-Revolutionary France doing on a spaceship? Get a little perspective."

I was watching The Day of the Doctor earlier. Superb story, but the scenes in the barn with the War Doctor and the Moment are stunning. Billie Piper really raises her game when acting opposite John Hurt and the two of them are electric together.

The Brig's reactions to almost everything in The Three Doctors. A couple of examples, the slow realisation and double take at seeing an old face on the Doctor, his denial that UNIT HQ has been transported to another dimension even when shown by the opened door, "I'm pretty sure that's Cromer out there.", his face at seeing the Gel Guards, the inside of the TARDIS and his exasperation that this is where UNIT's Science budget is going. I bloomin' love the guy!

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

It's one of the few times in that season where Rose felt like an actual person and not a Mary Sue fanfic character. I love the gag where Ten opens the TARDIS door and then realises that they're blocked in so he dematerialises and twists the ship 90 degrees to make it easier to get out. It really highlighted a lot of the mundane, everyday concerns of that story. I don't actually mind Fear Her: it's greatest weakness is that it feels a little too generic to be Doctor Who. I kept imagining it as an episode of The X-Files or The Omega Factor or The Avengers or Supernatural or any other otherworldly-tinged show.

Pretty much any scene with Peter Wyngarde in Planet of Fire. It's so easy to get caught up in his childish excitement at the Outsider's arrival, despite everything you desperately wish that his views could be validated. That final moment in which we see him as he moves to the burning chamber to be engulfed by the coming lava is bittersweet. Although sadly based on a falsehood, his faith remains unshakeable. It's a really nice way to give the potential stereotype of a superstitious cargo cult leader a great deal of unexpected depth. He's a nice, complicated character.

I watched the Moonbase yesterday and forgot what a great reveal the Cybermen on the operating tables were. It really catches you off guard after all the Cybermen sneaking around and then starting their brutal attack.

Patrick Troughton in The Two Doctors. I don't think I ever gave it another thought until two years ago when I saw it again and it came back like a lightning bolt how brilliant I thought his performance was.

The other day I saw a clip from The Pandorica Opens when Eleven is being dragged towards the Pandorica, and off-screen you hear a Dalek saying "You have been scanned, assessed, understood, Doctor." I remember seeing a spoiler photo of the Pandorica chamber before the episode airs, so I kind of had an idea what was going to happen, but it still felt incredibly epic.

River's reaction to Ten in Silence of the Library when she realises he doesn't know her - fantastic performance/writing.
Cheers
