This weekend all of our Doctor Who Lost Stories are available at a discount...
Until mid-night on Monday 10th April, if you use the LOST60 discount code on check-out, you will get a massive 60% discount on any of the stories in our Doctor Who - The Lost Stories range. And for this weekend alone, we're including the first volume of Doctor Who - Philip Hinchcliffe Presents as part of that range so that the discount also applies
There are Lost Stories from any of the first seven Doctors' eras: perhaps the epic First Doctor Box Set, the Second Doctor encountering The Rosemariners or The Lords of the Red Planet. There's the Third Doctor's The Mega, The Fourth Doctor Box Set, the Fifth Doctor meeting The Elite or The Children of Seth, or entire lost seasons featuring the Sixth Doctor (from The Nightmare Fair onward) or Seventh (Ice Warrior tale Thin Ice opening the series-27-which-might-have-been).
This LOST60 offer code ends at mid-night (UK time) on Monday 10th April. Please note that for the duration of this offer, the prices on our Doctor Who - Lost Stories bundles have been adjusted to be the total of their contents, so that 60% applies uniformly across the range.
If you're having trouble using the code, please make sure no leading/following spaces have crept in, and that the letters are all capitalised and end with sixty (60).

If you want to get the first volume of Philip Hinchcliffe Presents, now is the best time. CD is still rather expensive, but download is a pretty good deal for six discs of content.
Recommendations: Leviathan Paradise 5 Point of Entry The First Doctor Box Set The Second Doctor Box Set - The first story is definitely YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary), but the second story is an interesting look at what could have been The Fourth Doctor Box Set The Elite The Children of Seth The Guardians of Prophecy The First Sontarans Lords of the Red Planet The Mega

Recommendations for someone who has absolutely no Lost Stories atm? Farewell Great Macedon is one of the best BF releases full stop, never mind just in the Lost range and The Fragile Yellow Arc of Fragrance is solid so the First Doctor boxset would be number one on my list. The closest comparison to Macedon is Marco Polo so if you're a fan of the early historicals, it's an easy choice. McCoy's Lost Series 25, well, it isn't great but it's a fascinating what if especially if he's a fave Doctor of yours. You'll meet Raine Creevy, his woulda been companion. For Monster-led stories Lords Of The Red Planet and The First Sontarans are great slices of 60s and 80s Who that are just really strong tales with the classic monsters. They'd have been standouts on TV. While neither are amongst my faves, people do seem to love the Fourth Doctor Boxset with Foe From The Future and then the Hinchcliffe box. If you're a Tom fan, it's probably a safe bet you'll like them more than I. If you've got a mind to eventually get the lot then maybe consider the boxsets as 60% off them obviously saves you more than from the single releases.

I remember the Hartnell stories and the Tom Baker Lost Stories box being the best stuff from this range. Although actually The Prison in Space is surprisingly entertaining, and - astonishingly - much much less dated than the 80s take on the same subject - Mission to Magnus.
I also recall that if one likes the Sixth Doctor and Peri in full TV multi-colour multi-tantrum style (as opposed to the more mellow take BF do on them) there's plenty of that in their Lost Stories, esp Leviathan.
But it's been a while since I listened to any of those.

I bought Series 2 and Series 4 in 2015, and decided to skip over the sale last year as I was trying to save money (as it turns out, this is the only sale I skipped over), so it's really nice to now say I have all four series!

Ooh yes! I already have all of the Lost Stories in my library but as others have said that offer on Philip Hinchliffe Presents set is excellent. Purchased!
Recommendations: The First Sontarans is a fantastic and fast-paced story that grips from the start and doesn't let go. Also The Foe from the Future in the Fourth Doctor set is still my favourite Tom Baker/Big Finish production - really atmospheric and engaging recreation of '70s Who.

Lots of good stuff. Loved Leviathan and First Sontarons. Although I just found out about half an hour ago that a lot of BF is on Spotify, including lots of 6th Doctor Lost Stories.

Standard recommendations
4th Doc Lost Stories
PHP Presents
1st Doc Boxset
The First Sontarans
(All Fantastic)
Titles I like
Leviathan ( good little twisty story)
Paradise 5 ( standard story but featuring a great double act of villains. I did a double take who the other Actor was, and its not the one everyone else is thinking of.)
Point of Entry ( Gothic and Funny in places)
Season 27 run (Thin Ice and Crime of the Century are very good indeed Earth Aid is a fair enough conclusion Animal though not great)
The Elite (Excellent twist on the traditional)
The Rosemariners and Lords of the Red Planet (Almost Full-Cast effect)
2nd Doc Boxset and Queen of Time ( I enjoyed them quite a lot but they aren't to everyone's liking)
Now Long Term posters know what I'm about to say next:
Avoid Masters of Luxor at all costs!

The Masters of Luxor is a great story! But it takes place in a different Doctor Who production universe where the show and the characters went in a different direction. (Otherwise, great selection and thanks for the reminder of two I DON'T have - until a few clicks from now... )
