Pretty good. I enjoyed the first part more than the second, where I think it started to lose its way a little and I’d lost track a bit. Lalla Ward portrays Romana as especially vicious in this one, doesn’t she?! Rather out of place, I think.

Gosh, I didn't get the nastiness in Lalla Ward that everyone else seemed to be seeing. I enjoyed the story overall. The plot was something a little different, albeit biologically implausible.

I don't think Lalla has ever come across as nasty in the 4DAs as far as I'm concerned, but she does sometimes seem a bit too serious to me, much as if they were having her play Romana as if she were already president of Gallifrey. I don't think it's done very much to compromise my enjoyment of the 4DAs, but I do seem to keep thinking she seems slightly out of character somehow.

I played this more than a couple of times when it was first release was it really about 3 years ago so thought it was time to relisten it came in the back of debut writers wasn’t this Adrian Poynton did he ever written for Who again or any other range listening to again it definitely has an atmosphere what I like about our BF releases was that somehow Romana had a lot of Earth knowledge and from the televised episodes you wonder where she got it from .
I really thought at time this was a really strong entry and am still feeling it
I do not get Nastiness from Romana more irritation with the Doctor which could be very understandable lol

I rather recall liking it when I first listened to it. Had some good science fiction ideas and Franklin was a fun side character. Definitely one of the more memorable one off characters the Fourth Doctor Adventures has produced.
And yes, more Adrian Poynton is always good.
