What would everyone like to see adapted in regards to Eighth Doctor novels? I'd personally love to see The Space Age, BUT it has to be completely faithful.

Vampire Science, The Bodysnatchers, Seeing I, the Banquo Legacy and The Burning. I don't think it will happen, but I would love it if it did!

Since it's likely never to happen anyway (even assuming BF do decide to do more adaptations) I'll just say...all of them I've read roughly 50 of them (currently reading Book Of The Still) only a handful of which I genuinely disliked, but I'd be especially keen to hear: Vampire Science The Bodysnatchers (reworked with both Jago and Lightfoot present of course...) Genocide War Of The Daleks Alien Bodies Dreamstone Moon Seeing I The Scarlet Empress The Taint Demontage Revolution Man Dominion Unnatural History Autumn MIst The Blue Angel Frontier Worlds Coldheart The Ancestor Cell The Burning Casualties of War The Turing Test Endgame Father Time Fear Itself Eater Of Wasps The Year Of Intelligent Tigers The City Of The Dead Mad Dogs And Englismen Hope Trading Futures. (Not all of which would be easy to adapt to audio-though I can imagine Empress and Tigers lending themselves to some wonderful music/soundscapes)

I've often thought it would be fun to get a few short trips set during the 8th Doctor's exile on Earth, that little mini arc was one of the high points of the EDA's and really explored the Doctor's character in interesting and new ways, BF could do alot with the amnesia/watching everyone he dies of old age over and over angle, there's bound to be one or two amusing encounters with UNIT or the 3rd Doctor during that period...

And The Dying Days done early adventures/CC style, really want to read it but I don't fancy paying £100 for a copy...

I still don't like this new-fangled adaptions word. We had adaptations in my day and we were grateful for them.

Vampire Science, The Bodysnatchers, Seeing I, the Banquo Legacy and The Burning. I don't think it will happen, but I would love it if it did! The Burning had a slow start, but then it got really good!

I had the easiest time hearing McGann while reading The Janus Conjunction.
But I'd sooner like to hear some of the Fitz stories.

The Burning had a slow start, but then it got really good! I'd wager it's An Unearthly Child for the new millennium. There's this real sense of Doctor Who starting all over again.

The Eight Doctors sounds fun. I remember enjoying it, but it was quite dumb in parts and basically an excuse for Terrence Dicks to plug his own greatest hits (and cr*p on the TV Movie), his characterization of the 6th Doctor (a shouty blowhard obsessed with eating) left a somewhat sour taste in my mouth, the 8th Doctor was written as bland as can be and I don't think the continuity matches very well with BF, though the 7th Doctor segment was surprisingly touching and it's the only Dr Who story I'm aware of that involves the Doctor getting arrested for being in possession of crack cocaine, good fun but kinda frustrating. Vampire Science was excellent though and many argue it should have started the range instead.

The Sixth Doctor thing sounds like he only watched any scenes with Mel as 6's companion and decided being unhealthy was somehow a 'key characterisation' of that incarnation.

Which is odd when you get to Players two years later and almost everything from Baker's first year is done with considerable aplomb. The Sixth Doctor is perfect, Peri is perfect, even the "80s trying to do the 60s" feel is right on the money. Come Endgame a year later and one of the villains refers to his incarnation as "that great handsome bull of a man," so I think he left the right impression.
