Hiya,
I'm wondering if anyone has any Doctor Who episodes written by Steven Moffat with scenes that make you go "Ohhhh... That was bad."
More specifically, I'm looking for any jokes written by Steven Moffat that you thought were really bad/unfunny in Doctor Who. Or maybe there are some jokes that you thought were pretty good, but everyone else bashes on.
I need it for a... thing. The thing needs a bad Steven Moffat joke to be fitted into.
Thanks!

A lot of his attempts at comedy fall flat for me (I've been spoiled by The One Doctor and The Pirates, I think), but I really enjoyed the quietly psychopathic Missy in The Witch's Familiar. Using Clara as a canary for the pit was unexpectedly hilarious.

Not a 'joke' exactly, but I used to love The Twelfth Doctor's relationship with Clara. Here he is, travelling with a beautiful looking human being, and all he can do is take pot-shots about her looks. 'You need two mirrors? Is your face really that wide?', and all that business. When they were crawling through a ducting (as every Doctor/companion must do at some point), she warns him not to comment on her hips, and he replies, "Ah, don't worry about it, you're built like a man." This, as a means of reassuring her! I loved all that stuff and am sad it has come to an end.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

From A Good Man Goes To War:
Madame Vastra: Mammals. They all look the same to me. Jenny: Thank you. Madame Vastra: I’m sorry; was I being insensitive again, dear? I don’t know why you put up with me. (Madame Vastra extends her tongue to its full length and lashes out at some bloke with it)
"Here's an envelope, Mr Moffat - why don't you push it a bit."
I love that scene but there were a lot of other fans who thought it went a little too far for family viewing.

The time travel pile-up oneupsmanship in Curse of the Fatal Death was funny.
