Hey everyone,
How are you watching Series 10/Season Thirty-Six? Are you watching the series with the benefit of hindsight (the DWM previews) or do you prefer to experience the series 'fresh'?
For me, given how personal this year is for me, I've decided not to read the DWM previews and just experience the series without the benefit of hindsight (I'm still reading the comic strip, though .

Pretty much just going by what gets officially announced. This has been maybe the best year for spoilers not leaking we've had in a long while - the major returning guest star only leaked when the trailer was screened for the press and not, miraculously, when filming. We have little idea what the plots are for all the major eps, just who the players are in them, enough to build hype but not blow the surprises. It's all conjecture, rumour and...rather exciting.
I AM avoiding any clips on chat shows and posted by the Beeb though - and I'm glad as Pearl's intro to the TARDIS was just glorious yet the scene from them entering right to the "You're safe here and always will be" was posted online the day before by the Beeb. I wouldn't have loved it outside the context of the episode half as much. It's cool knowing it's ALL new.

Blind, completely blind. Aside from a rumour that was posted out of it's designated thread without a spoiler tag, I know nothing but the titles and writers.

Inserted directly into the skull by transoptical implant. Completely blind, I'm not even aware of what the upcoming episodes are called. (I'm still reading the comic strip, though ). Wish I could, I can't afford the subscription. The Panini anthologies and trips to my local library are my lifeline when it comes to DWM comics.

Day after on Amazon. No commercials makes the season pass all worth it.
EDIT: Not actually viewing... oh. Some spoilers but I don't know what's going to happen every episode.

I've managed to avoid a lot of spoilers and only know what's coming up next week when I see the preview at the end of the current episode. We don't watch it live, but record it and watch an hour later (for suitability for the youngest to watch it). We then watch it as a family on Sunday (if appropriate). This means I have to avoid this place for a couple of hours but I get to see it twice in as many days. So far it's very fresh and a nice way to view - only thing I'm not looking forward to is having to watch a bad episode twice lol.
Cheers
Tony

I've managed to avoid most spoilers. (Though one friend keeps posting stuff on FB. I may have to block her if she keeps it up! ) I like to see the episodes with a minimum of foreknowledge.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I've been watching them on a Sunday morning (in Australia) through our broadcaster's internet player, trawling through reviews and social media and then watching it in the evening (scheduled TV broadcast) with any family that want to watch with me in order to pick up anything I might have missed the first time around.
For those who think this might be obsessive, Doctor Who has been pretty much the only telly I've watched over the last three years and I picked up this habit a couple of episodes into Series 9 when I suddenly became a proper fan of the show again.

I read the DWM previews first, then watch the episodes as broadcast.

I read the DWM previews. I have made no effort to either avoid or seek out spoilers, but everyone on my twitter feed (which is really the only place I could be spoiled without warning) either actively avoids spoilers or doesn't care about the show, so I'm never really spoiled.
