Well.
And knowing Big Finish that's exactly how they would handle him.

Give Matt Smith some Master stories finally? I can imagine that because Smith is always quite a flamboyant Doctor, perhaps contrasting him against a toned-down, more menacing Simm (which I believe they're going for with his return this year) would be great. Actually I think it would be nice for Matt Smith to have his own Master to face. Ian Puleston-Davies would be my pick if Big Finish don't ever cast a Degaldo voice-alike.

Star with Simm for continuity (in addition to giving him more stories because that'd be nice) and transition into another Master.

I'd vastly prefer menacing/toned-down. The new series seems rather hung up on the idea that the master is mainly WACKY/insane!
(Of course, I actually wasn't the biggest fan of the original series' take, though Delgado was quite good. He was too often pure panto villain, which I think belongs more in a superhero show than Doctor Who).

He'd probably sound too similar as both his Master and Degaldo's if he played both.

Simm wouldn't play both.

Get rid of that skeletor crap - shame that can't be retconned out. Honestly, unless their contract with BBC says they can't, I'd prefer they just plain ignored it. Not even retconned out, but simply ignored. I can ignore it if they can. I'm a stickler for things making internal sense when they are necessary to the story, but I'm not a stickler for ignoring dumb **** that should never have been there in the first place, like flying McCrazypants Lightninghands.

I would honestly prefer a Davros story for the Eleventh Doctor, a gap between Davros' appearances in series 4 and series 9, I can easily imagine Matt Smith with a smile full of cold sadism trying to strangle the creator of the Daleks kill him to end the nightmare once and for all (just watch this scene www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPS2Wx93K7I)

That just cracked me up so much. I'm all for having the Simm Master at BF. Yes, agree with the need for him being toned down and less manic. I think BF could do a very good job with it.

Have him crash through the timestream & arrive on Earth with slight amnesia thinking he's a modern day cop named Sam who travelled back to the year 1973.

Davros on the other hand is more 'crackpot dictator', which is what made him a nice opponent for 10 and 12 - both Doctors you can easily imagine becoming like Davros if they took the wrong path as they have both had their Time Lord Victorious moments. Whilst it's true 11 has done some very dark things, they were more extreme solutions than TLV.
