Hey everyone,
I've noticed on a lot of topics there's been a lot of discussion of plot points and characters not resolved in the original series. What would you like to see revisited or revived in future releases?

I'd like them to revisit parallel time at some point. Hallie & Stiles adventures would be nice, but it seems they're actually doing that in the anthology releases, so that's being looked at. I'd like some stories about Strix, as that race has a rich mythology and it'd be interesting to learn more about that individual. Basically I want them to flesh out the 1970s, as there's a huge gap there currently. I'd also very much love for them to flesh out Isaiah's story. We never really learned it, and he was taken form us just as it looked like we were going to get somewhere

I'm not a big fan of tying up loose ends for the sake of tying them up. If a loose end is a starting point for a story that isn't just to resolve the loose end (eg, 'Did Burke die in the plane crash?' led to And Red All Over, which is more than just tying up a loose end) then for sure, go for it. But this is based on an unusual soap opera, so I think dangling loose ends are par for the course.
In some respects, I suspect the availability of actors will influence which loose ends are under consideration for exploring (or for starting new plot threads!), but hopefully not the only consideration.

Adam and Vicki obviously. (Not at the same time.)
I was jonesing for something about Lady Kitty Hampshire and Edward Collins when the 1897 storyline sped up and the story of them conning each other into marriage was overlooked. But then a few episodes later someone remembered and there was a few voiceovers tying that plot up (or at least giving lip service to doing so)

Vicky is the first thing that pops into my mind. I think her unresolved backstory, which was such a large part of Dark Shadows for a long time, is arguably in need of some attention - as is her fate since a few lines from the ghost of Peter Bradford is all we get on the show. I'd really only want to see it done if Alexandra Moltke returned, though. Otherwise, Lara Parker's most recent book scratches that itch pretty well.

I will have to think about this question awhile. I usually have a list a mile long but I'm extremely pleased that the later releases have tried to tie some things up, so I have to go back and tick those off my list. It does come to mind immediately that I'm always wondering what happened to Nora. Adam and Vicki obviously. (Not at the same time.) Drats... That was going to be my reply to the "How would you like Vicki to return?" thread - first Dr. Lang's ghost instructs Adam to dig her up, then they put a million volts through her and holler "Vicki lives!" - it is Dark Shadows, you know. :-) I was jonesing for something about Lady Kitty Hampshire and Edward Collins when the 1897 storyline sped up and the story of them conning each other into marriage was overlooked. But then a few episodes later someone remembered and there was a few voiceovers tying that plot up (or at least giving lip service to doing so) I wonder if we could ever get the producers to recast a role played by Louis Edmonds*, but it would be really interesting for Kathyrn to reprise the role (sans the fainting and conniving). It might be relatively convenient to do a story set when Lady Hampshire was still in England given where Big Finish is located? *possibly that should read, "the inimitable Louis Edmonds" since as brilliant as the short story performances have been, I'm not sure I think anyone's gotten anywhere near a convincing rendition, surprisingly enough.

I'll second Adam. I'm only in his early days yet in the show, but he's been conspicuously absent from all the audios.

I've always wanted something about David being the son of a phoenix. If there can only be one in a lifetime, is he a phoenix now? What about in previous generations? Does this somehow tie into his dreams and occasionally accurate visions in the crystal ball? Is that why he went to Egypt and met Violet? What about his trip to South America?
I'd also be interested in Edward and Edith's children, AKA Quentin, Judith, Karl, and Edward's father and uncle. How did they die so young? Was it something paranormal?

On the show no one seemed to wonder if the children of a phoenix might be supernatural. Aside from being a "little monster" David Collins (David Henesy) was considered the fairly normal son of Roger (Louis Edmonds) and phoenix Laura (Diana Millay). In the 1897 period the children Jamison (David Henesy) and Nora (Denise Nickerson) were apparently normal children of Edward (Louis Edmonds) and phoenix Laura (Diana Millay). But I guess because of that every member in the present day family would have some supernatural genes. There was mention in 1795 that the phoenix had married Barnabas' Uncle Jeremiah when Barnabas was younger, but no children were mentioned as being born to that union. That might be something to explore. In 1967 when Vicki was trying to trace the phoenix's history, she had been associated with other family surnames -- Murdock, Stockbridge, etc., and I used to wonder if interesting stories might be mined from those lines. I assume you mean Gabriel and Edith's sons, one of them the father of Edward, Judith, Carl, & Quentin. That would be a period I'd like to see -- or hear on audio. Also I'd like more of Quentin 1's son Tad Collins.
