Big Finish would love for you to vote for the Big Finish podcast in the British Podcast Awards. Could you take a minute of your time to click here and fill in the form? www.britishpodcastawards.com/voteTbey once read out one of my emails so that deserves a vote methinks

There are a great many things that Big Finish produces that are worthy of plaudits and awards, but the podcast isn't one of them (in my opinion).

Which is exactly why I said I'd lean towards the Benji and Nick show, which is not a marketing platform, it's just a couple of dudes chatting about stuff that often, as an American, I know nothing about, but their enthusiasm (or lack thereof) makes it entertaining.

I think the Toby Hadoke's Who's Round strand is one of the very best things online and features no advertising at all bar a trailer at the end. Unfortunately, I think people sometimes forget it's as much a part of the Big Finish podcast as the weekly news and coming up chats.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Oh yes, totally agree: I tuned in for the Doctor Who stories and stayed because I was getting an amazing oral history of British theatre/ cinema/ television from almost every perspective imaginable.

Exactly, and so much character revealed on the way. A truly wonderful labour of love.

Nice to see Nick apologising (even though I personally didn't really see what was so controversial in the first place). But hey, an apology is an apology (and he directly apologised as well).
Also fun podcast. The Capitol IV Panel sounded like real fun, the behind-the-scenes of 3DA's was fun. Now if only they can finally stop reading emails about the new website and we get back to nitpicking teases out of it!

That was very nice to get to hear. That was quite polite and things are more understandable given the proper context.

Is someone able to give us the "cliff's notes/25 words or less" version please?

Is someone able to give us the "cliff's notes/25 words or less" version please? That he responded to the E-mails in the Podcast because they were sent to the Podcast. it was negative comments, so therefore it was worth airing for balance otherwise they get accused of being overly positive, however. he concedes his responses, while meant too amuse, have come across as rude.
(Sorry it was as short as I could make it )

The shared room sentiment from the Capital IV segment about not liking the design of the Paradigm Daleks, I certainly found myself nodding yes to. Nick's disdain of them is priceless.

I'm just waiting for an email section where the emails discuss upcoming stories rather than issues with the website/meta-emails about the podcast.
