BBC have Stalled BFs Timetable on Fugitive Doctor and Call Me Master (Nick sounding mildly irked but they will be released eventually) Regards mark687 I've made the mistake of assuming Big Finish were at fault for jumping the gun on these releases, but it's actually the BBC who have delayed things. Sorry, BF. Perhaps the characters have something lined up for the new series.

What Nick actually says is that they need the press releases and release dates to be approved by the BBC before they can announce them and they're still waiting on that.

What Nick actually says is that they need the press releases and release dates to be approved by the BBC before they can announce them and they're still waiting on that. Thank you for clarifying. The original comment about this now seems a bit misleading. I'm sure this is standard for all stuff BF do. But it would seem BF maybe did announce this a bit early. Should have waited for BBC approval.

Could this also explain why Coda is being released a year later? BBC not wanting 13 era releases till after the 60th? (that's assuming it will be 13 era content on that release, such as Fugitive Doctor)
Does feel a bit odd still, not sure it could possibly overshadow at this point with the amount of general hype there is for the 60th.

We know Jo Martin was cast-listed for Code so it seems like someone at the BBC or Bad World has decided that her Fugitive Doctor stuff can't be released until 2024 at the earliest.

Recent Podcast but a long term BF listener ask what's the extra thing needed for Armature audio production to become professional. Both reply luck, and learning the capabilities of your equipment before you even start recording something for release, Nick went full digital assist ie Pro Tools quite early from the The Genocide Machine onwards, Benji uses Reaper which is free, to gain the skills but both would use Pro Tools for a professional finish, beware also if BF do like samples of your work and they ask for an adduction Piece to their specification but may give you a very short window in which to do it.

That was a great podcast. I'm not interested in doing sound design, but I actually loved Benji and Nick discussing how to break in to the industry.
