What do you mean exactly? As in published every two weeks? Sure. I collect 2000AD, it gets published weekly.

I'm pretty sure Michael is referring to how DC releases many of its titles twice a month. I prefer this to monthly, as storylines don't run too long in terms of publication date, and the trades come out sooner as well.

I find it adds a nice immediecy It's not just DC, though. Marvel is now publishing Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and it's X-Titles twice a month.

It's really good for team books. For example, Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps covers Hal, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayer, and both the Green Lantern and Yellow Lantern Corps (working together at the moment). If I had to wait a month for twenty pages, I'd be a lot more annoyed than at the moment where it's only two weeks. Wonder Woman took an interesting approach to this, with two storylines being published at the same time, swapping over every other issue. The key thing is that the writers and the artists are able to keep up with the increased schedule. The second issue of X-Men Gold was delayed while Marvel editors checked the artwork after the huge controversy around the artwork of the first issue.

I really feel for a lot of people working in comics today, though. Not long after DC launched Rebirth, on the official DC Entertainment Youtube channel, Dan DiDo got quite emotional about comic book sales and how people just aren't buying comics like they used to and while promoting Justice League Vs Suicide Squad, he really stressed just how damn hard artists were working on the fortnight books. Don't get me wrong, I love the format, but it seems it's one which has been borne out of neccessity.
