Clickbait rumours start here. Steven Moffat is scheduled to discuss scriptwriting and producing 'Doctor Who' on 'Front Row' on Tuesday 6th June. Now, granted that segments on 'Front Row' tend to be a bit fluid as to what day they're broadcast, but... what's so special about next week?
Could we be getting... an announcement?
(Or does this just make up for there being no Big Finish on Radio 4 Extra on Saturday?)

Never heard the program myself, but having checked out their website www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qsq5 I see no reason not to think they just invited him along because it fits well with their remit, it seems odd to me to postulate that this would be how either The BBC or Moffat would release major news.

Its not that unusual, plus I struggle to think of what announcement Moffat would be able to make.

"Front Row" generally covers things - plays, films, books, tv series - that are about to come available, or current news stories about the arts. Covering 'Doctor Who' more than halfway through the current series is very unusual, particularly for a tv show that likes its PR weighted towards the start of the series.

According to the EPG he's due to talk about 'Sherlock' as well.

I had Radio 4 on anyway, I had no idea he'd be on Front Row so it was quite a surprise. Overall, a nice summary of his professional life so far, but nothing really in the details.

Turns out he was making a public appearance at the Hay Festival.
