Probably the most powerful and loaded of the "Lost Files" releases, this one has some nice twists, yet another deadly abomination from before the dawn of time, and some actual major plot development for the series, a first for the audios. We get not only Ianto's temporary return from the dead, allowing him and Jack to have a nice heart to heart and a proper goodbye prior to his final farewell, and the permanent closing of the Cardiff Rift, both of which are rather major happenings in the grand scheme of the series. Good stuff, and I'm rather surprised that these things got to happen on audio, though perhaps that's due to the fact that the show had rather moved on by the time of its release.
