Very unexpected and sad news to come online to, I had a real fondness for her in her role as Victoria, and am ever hopeful that one day more episodes from her era on the show might be uncovered, or at least animated, so that they could hopefully gain new fans and appreciation.
Still, I remember a time when all that existed of her character was a few rarely seen orphan episodes, but thankfully she got to see the return of Tomb of the Cybermen, Enemy of the World and most of Web of Fear, along with the animated completion of the Ice Warriors in her time, so her legacy is no longer in any risk of disappearing. It's just a bit of a shame that Big Finish didn't use her a bit more over the years when they had the chance, even if her voice had notably changed as she aged.
69 is just too soon, but she's travelling through eternity with Patrick again now, or at least that's how I choose to think of it.
And my deepest condolences to all of her family, friends, and colleagues during this sad and difficult time.

A picture I took at LI Who 2 1/2,years ago of Debbie with Frazer and Wendy. I am glad I got to see them all together.
In many ways Doctor Who on audio is my favorite but on TV Patrick is my Doctor and there is just something about this era that really gets to me. Debbie will be so missed.
