Not an album as such, but it's the same size on the turntable - who'd've thought that Morris Minor and the Majors had released a 12" 'dance mix' of "Stutter Rap"?! Found it on Youtube, where so many things live.

Alice in Chains: Live! iTunes correctly lists it as most-listened.
Most listened song from that album and all-around: A Little Bitter (Live)

I just can't get into the albums with the new guy. Saw a show and it was fantastic. One giant singalong. Me, wife, every single person I could see was belting it out.
But the new stuff...just doesn't have it. It's not bitter. It's not broken. And it needs to be. Jerry's guitarwork is metal and then some but ... it... it all just doesn't have quite that flame I find in the earlier stuff, almost a ghostlight of a sound.
If I had a TARDIS . . . .

I think "Jar Of Flies" hit #1 here on the charts.. so dark and depressing and morose.. I love it!

Finally received my cd digi pack copy of the new Venom Inc album "There Is Only Black" . Legendary musicians, when they toured here there was an actual riot by the 3rd/4th song in the mosh pit. This big 6foot 8ish guy just started beating up people properly. The security guards managed to throw him out the venue. 2 out of the 3 band members formed the original band "Venom" in Newcastle upon Tyne around 1978 and helped to create a new genre of music.. Nicest guys in the world you could meet too.

I just happened to stumble upon the Final Fantasy Piano Opera album on itunes while I was wandering around on youtube listening to the Piano releases of songs from the various games./
I absolutely adore much of the Final Fantasy music and hearing it performed on the piano can bring such depth to the songs. Looking forward to hearing this album.

I got some nice new headphones for the big day, and the first thing I decided to listen to was... Abby Road. For various reasons I won't get into here, I'm not much of a music person. I'd listened to Abby Road before. I didn't really think much of it. But now? I get it. With the headphones the clarity of the sound is so much better, so much richer, than what I'd had before... I can clearly see why The Beatles are so highly regarded. Many of the songs have these wonderful layers that really pop with some decent bass, and some really cool stereo effects that are just insane with headphones. Looking forward to hearing this album. Ooh, I need to listen to this ASAP. The one piece of music I've probably listened to more than any other in my whole life is probably To Zanarkand.
