I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions for open-endings from these stories: Daleks Among Us: {Spoiler} The Doctor, Will and Klein run off. Then what happens? We Are The Daleks: {Spoiler} Dunthorpe becomes the Dalek Prime-Minister. Surely, there's gonna be a sequel to this!

The First Doctor started talking to Twelve, but they never showed what happened next. /sees self out. Actually... The Name of the Doctor. The story has a bit of handwaving "Don't worry about it," when it comes to its ending. The Eleventh Doctor and Clara are in the Doctor's own timestream... So... They're stranded on Karn? It's one of those stories like Asylum of the Daleks that continuity-wise we're almost just supposed to forget about (the revelation in The Magician's Apprentice is treated like a first-time event).

Apparently, the Doctor carrying Clara out of the timestream was scripted, but not filmed because Matt Smith injured his knee. But still, it seems like an interesting story could be slid into that gap. Yes, Skaro being intact in Asylum does feel really jarring with the events before and after. Especially given that there was absolutely no reason for the story to have a scene on Skaro.

Especially given that there was absolutely no reason for the story to have a scene on Skaro. Interesting, I didn't know that. You could do a short story, A Moment of the Doctor. The possibilities are storytelling are rife and there's certainly a lot implied in The Day of the Doctor that could be further explored in that gap -- I'm still rather attracted to the idea that the War Doctor didn't exist until he interfered in his own timestream, his existence is a sort of temporal blood clot. Like the man from the poem Antigonish. "I met a man who wasn't there; He wasn't there again today; Oh, how I wish he'd go away!" The Eleventh Doctor seems unusually aware of what exactly is going on around him, just letting it all fall into place while he waits and then there's the scene with all thirteen Doctors at the end. He also has a very hard time leaving things alone, so I don't think he'd pass up the opportunity to meddle in his own past. Particularly that moment in his past. I think the Faction would be rather smug. Well... Maybe more smug. The Evenfall of the Doctor, maybe? Yes, Skaro being intact in Asylum does feel really jarring with the events before and after. Especially given that there was absolutely no reason for the story to have a scene on Skaro. Yes... It doesn't help that there's a very quick and obvious backpedal come The Time of the Doctor that gives the Daleks their memories back. Rip out the tag scene for The Snowmen and it could very easily be the Doctor and Clara's first reunion come The Bells of St. John.

The Game, Morian gets away with it, i was hoping he'd turn up in another story to receive his comeuppance.
