I hope somewhere down the line we'll have a Fourth Doctor Adventure that will highlight Boursa's descent into the man he becomes in The Five Doctors ). Yes, there's an argument that's Boursa's corruption and lust for power is best negated offscreen, but Big Finish IS the retroactive experience and it's been thirty years since The Five Doctors. For me, that story can be told.

I really like how Borusa's character developed over the years because he can be considered the archetypal Time Lord and his fall from grace essentially extends from his original character as a teacher. The seeds for that ultimate decision in The Five Doctors are there in The Deadly Assassin, a man who believed in mathematics as the only genuine expression of truth, who would surreptitiously adjust the facts to suit convenience. That was the curious thing, he wasn't a vicious or wicked man like Morbius or Rassilon. He was, quite simply, ruthless and believed himself to be the only voice of authority worth listening to.
I think he believed that a single death was a tragedy below notice, the death of a million was a statistic that could move his soul.

I'd be down for any adventure with Borusa set before The Five Doctors. He's got a few contradictory stories after that one - (Blood Harvest, The Eight Doctors, Engines of War) - but has no EU stories set before! The Third Doctor could even be involved with Gallifrey in some way.
