One of my favourite presenters & worthy of the title 'National Treasure', I'll always treasure the fond memories of watching The Generation Game on Friday nights in the early 90's with my nan, they were fun times.
A legend & a iconic who'll be sadly missed.

One of the last "true" entertainers. He will be missed.
Cheers

Hello again.
The news about Sir Bruce left me feeling unaccountably sombre. I never knew the man but his energy and love of life, people and showbusiness really shone out. His influence was immense.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Back in the '70s he and 'The Generation Game' were as much a part of our family Saturday TV nights as 'Doctor Who'. And they were both still pulling in the viewers on Saturday nights 40 years later!
Perhaps the last of the old Variety performers, irreplacable and the end of an era. (But didn't he do well!)
