Thoughts on BBC One's newest medical drama, starring our future Doctor as a phony doctor embroiled in shady medical and family shenanigans?

I thought Trust Me's first three episodes were great, but the fourth was a terrible conclusion.
Why didn't we get to see Cath's comeuppance? Why does the series seem to be giving the message that fraud is fine so long as you're good at your job, and you will be awarded for it?
It's a complete mess.

(Copy of my Post from the last TV You Watched Thread) Read an interview with the Writer recently He says he didn't know about Jodie's other Doctor role till the Trailer reveal and he'd already written a sequel with Cath involved but he didn't how heavy the involvement was Regards mark687

Jodie Whittaker was literally the only thing I liked about episode four. She gave a fantastic performance throughout IMO.

Jodie Whittaker was literally the only thing I liked about episode four. She gave a fantastic performance throughout IMO. she was ok but nothing more fantastic is a bit strong for me, but hey each to their own. if it had not been for the fact she had been cast as the doctor I doubt many would even remember who she was from this role. nothing outstanding, transformative or ground breaking, like the way ... Suranne jones or Sarah Lancashire and many other females actors have been blazing a trail of in recent years. she just played the same as she always does mummsy, she Is good at that don't get me wrong and that's sort of what the role needed, but personally (and gender issues aside) I am still not convinced that she is the captain that is needed to steer the good ship doctor who through the choppy waters ahead. but this is all getting too far away from the topic. I will finish by saying that trust me was ok, too long and with a poor conclusion.
