Digital and for one reason only... Cost of postage.

Yeah, postage sucks!
Also, digital stacks up much more neatly on one of the hard drives of my backup computer than on my shelf. To date, the only physical CDs I've bought from Big Finish are ones that were not available for download.

I was always a big fan of CD’s until I got a Google Play Music account and found it was much easier to download/stream music via laptop/phone. Sold my 100’s of CDs to MusicMagpie for peanuts, but most of the time they just cluttered up shelves or my car’s glove compartment so was glad to just get rid.
Can’t remember the last time I bought a physical CD and just like listening to music, I adopted the same approach with audiobooks/dramas. Just so much more flexible to carry lots of things on my phone.
Whilst I know lots of people still consume their audio habit via CD’s, I just wonder if Big Finish only offered ‘digital’ releases if their prices would come down - no need to employ someone to post CD’s and not to forget the cost of production/ storage.

I am a physical, organic release. Because evolution made me that way, no looms required...

Download because I really can't be bothered with the storage and management of physical media.

Slightly more on topic, I've wandered from all CD to mostly download and partly back again. It's very complex and messy! Here in the UK we are lucky enough to have postage included in the price of pre-orders and subscriptions, so the cost of CD purchases is usually little more than the download and the artwork makes them very attractive items. Completeness is also a factor: my MR sub has always been CD because I bought many MR single CDs previously, similarly where I know I will sub to a complete range, like the Early Adventures. But for the Companion Chronicles (where I have no urge to complete the range, though I will probably end up with most of them) some are on CD, some are downloads, depends on the offers and when I bought them - and the diversity doesn't bother me. For boxsets, 4 discs in a slipcase will generally get a CD purchase; a double jewel case doesn't carry the same appeal for me and may well be a download. But not for 'my' Third Doctor - his volumes are all CD. Where I've bulk-bought a range to catch up, in a sale, then I've often bought downloads of the older releases for space and cost, but CDs for the new, continuing releases in the range. And finally, I may choose CD if the 'status' of a release seems to me to demand it. Some of the 'Classics' I've happily bought and enjoyed as downloads, but for the Wells range and Shakespeare, to CD or not to CD was no question - CD of course. Is anyone else's BF collection this much of a mess?

Is this a general question or just Big Finish related?
I like to buy Blu-Rays, but they are my only physical media purchase. I download eBooks to my iPad if I want to read anything and I use the iTunes store for music, I also use Audible for proper audiobooks.
For Big Finish I am 100% digital now; more stories for your money, no postage charges, and no extortionate per-order DHL charge for international orders too. (Less space being required is a bonus.) My main range sub was always CD so my Doctor Who main range CD 'collection' now stops at #225. I would have preferred to keep it physical but the above mentioned costs were just too much. So downloads all the way from now on.

Physical product everytime. You follow every BF Doctor Who/spinoff range don't you? (and judging from some of your old Amazon reviews, the BBC audiobooks as well!) How do you find the space... I prefer physical copies (I'm one of those weirdoes who likes the feeling of looking at my collection on the shelf, also a bit of a old fashioned computerphobe so I never stream movies or music, and I don't own an e-reader, DVD's/paperbacks etc are just more convenient and simpler), and most of my BF collection is CD's (though even with my relatively small collection finding space may soon be a problem), but I also have quite a few downloads of various stories, it all depends what goes on sale (i.e I have all the subscriber specials, War Doctor, 6th Dr/Charley, Novel Adaptions on CD and I'm trying to complete the McGann's and Lost Stories as well, but I have a few companions chronicles and various MR stories/other on download).

My Big Finish is 100% digital. Purely for cost reasons and convenience (I like to listen to audios on the train).
When it comes to TV stuff, I'm firmly on physical. I only own one Dr Who story on download and not DVD.

I'm a fan of both, whilst I do enjoy having something that I can physically touch, if it's a film or TV series I do also like having a digital copy of it so that I'm not "tied" watching it on DVD (my Mac's DVD drive has been buggered for a few years now, so mainly use that for writing or watching things off of my hard drive in the bath...).

Lots of flat pack shelving from Ikea mate lol, i have a 4 bedroom house i converted one room into a Doctor Who temple with all my memorbella on display, i like to look at my collection on my shelfs it makes me nostalgic as i reflect on the effort & sacrifices made in building my Doctor Who collection.
