I just wish there was a way to get The Four Doctors and The Five Companions on my Big Finish app.

As a subscriber, I personally wouldn't feel I was 'losing' anything if these went on general releases. However, I do like the fact that, having made the commitment, BF is prepared to stick to it. Makes you feel you can trust them - when they say things that they will deliver.

I just wish there was a way to get The Four Doctors and The Five Companions on my Big Finish app. If they're part of your subscription, either through Demons of Red Lodge/Army of Death or as the free gift they will show up as an entry on your download page, and therefore be accessible via the App.

It doesn’t appear to be the case. I just downloaded 1001 Nights to my device to see if Night of the Stormcrow was attached and I’m not seeing it.

Not seeing it anywhere in the BF app. I've checked my App download list and both are there. Try filtering under Doctor Who - Bonus Releases.

You can't download the stuff in the bonus materials box, including extended extras.

I don’t see why they should go on general sale. People can get a 6/12 month subscription that includes the relevant Main Range release to get these stories free, or people can get them by subscribing to a 12 release subscription and choosing one as their free (£10.99 or less) story, so these titles are not unavailable or hard to get... and they can be got free of charge. So why pay for something you can get for nothing?! They are subscriber bonuses... so if you want them, subscribe. um, no, at least not for me. The first sub I ever ordered from bf, I request 5 companions and then an email, and got to choose a mr title to compensate. I was informed they were sub only.

I love the way people say "it would be against the law" if BF offered them by another method. At best it would be a breach of contract, which presumably anyone with sufficient money could sue them about. Maybe they'd succeed, but not sure what they'd gain if they did. It might matter if it was in the contract with the actors or production staff, who again could sue for breach of contract. On the other hand, BF said they wouldn't and they haven't. Personally, I don't really care. I have the stories via subscriptions, but I wouldn't have a problem if BF decided to make them more readily available. I like a company that keeps its word. When u say you're going to do something, then you do it. When u give your word not to do something, you keep that word.

I can't speak for your experience but I can say with 100% certantity that if you take out a 12 release Main Range CD subscription you can choose one of those two releases (The Four Doctors/Five Companions) as your free CD. It might be possible that wasn't always the case and the rules were relaxed at a later date.

I bought each of these titles from an individual on eBay a few months back to finish up my bonus CD run. At a price I could live with.
And, ad always, after I bought them, I found them cheaper a few days later,
