With next year being the 30th anniversary of Remembrance of the Daleks, do you think that Big Finish are planning a special Counter-Measures release to coincide with the first appearance of the characters, and if so, what will it involve? I reckon that there will be another meeting with the Doctor (probably still the 7th), or possibly another encounter with the Daleks

Next autumn will be about the right time for TNCM3, they seem to be spaced annually, so perhaps that set will mark the anniversary. A Seventh Doctor / Ace / CM / Daleks rematch would seem rather an obvious choice, but who cares about being obvious for once? I think that would make a great set but whatever they do, a pre-order is waiting... (Halfway through CM3 on my CM mission and still loving it. BF produce great drama all the time, but this range really is exceptional.)

If not Daleks, then definitely the 7th Doctor and Ace; I reckon they're more likely to go with them over Daleks anyway, as there's probably enough Dalek material coming in the near future as it is (*Ducks to avoid @stevo's wrath*) Also, I haven't heard all of Counter-Measures yet, so I don't know whether or not there's an appropriate adversary that could/should be brought back for such an occasion. All I know is there's likely going to be something special next year and I'm keen for it, no matter what it is

(Retreats to bunker, closes blast doors, checks seismograph to see when it's all over....) Three brilliant series in, CM is power politics and human science gone wrong rather than aliens - but they can do aliens too and will be for TNCM2. So I still think a Dalek-shaped birthday cake is likely.

I don't know if BF are planning a special Counter-Measures release to celebrate 30 years of Remembrance of the Daleks, but it would be nice to have a 7th Doctor/CM/Daleks rematch at some stage... the most important thing is that we get more Counter-Measures releases though.

With the loss of Jago & Litefoot I do keep thinking about catching up with Counter Measures.

I think them tangling with the Doctor during their missing years could be quite fun. Not necessarily all of the team, or maybe not all tangling with the same Doctor. I don't think that's happening though!

I don't really know bout Counter Measures properly. But it would be nice for them to have a rematch with the Daleks.

The New Counter Measures is set in the 70s so...bring on Tim Treloar as the Third Doctor! Seven already has an idea/knows who they are though exactly who may have slipped his mind, but suppose the Doctor's first meeting with them isn't their first meeting with him?

But shouldn't we wait for the 80's for that? I'd like to see to New Counter Measures/3rd Doctor and UNIT/ 70's or 80's Torchwood face-off at some point. Maybe throw in the Forge as well. The Doctor wouldn't find out the truth about Torchwood (or the Forge, if they're there), but their agents would all be competing and occasionally cooperating for the same artefacts/technology/McGuffin.

Started listening to the BTS interviews from the New Series 2 and John Dorney was saying that he was working on another Counter-Measures project, so he couldn't write any in that series. I wonder if that other project is for the anniversary.

Actually, with recent tweets from Katy Manning saying she's back recording 'a very unexpected delight' with 'a surprising team', is it utterly impossible that there'll be a 3rd Doctor era meet up? (Yes, very wild speculation, but it's all a bit of fun )
