Today is John Pickard's birthday! He's played temporary companion Thomas Brewster alongside the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa, and later the Sixth Doctor and Evelyn. He was also in The Three Companions.

Quite by coincidence I've just loaded his debut, The Haunting of Thomas Brewster onto my phone. The universe works in mysterious ways.
