This was mentioned on the podcast this week, so I wouldn't be surprised if we are having a giant Torchwood Announcement(The Titles for all the next six monthly range, covers and potentially a (S1-S2)boxset)

Now this is the sort of stuff I'm usually expecting from a Torchwood release! True, there wasn't really any unpleasantness (*cough* Corpse Day *cough*), but nothing in this story felt gratuitous in any way. If the same level of humour could be maintained while also using some of the darker elements from some of the other stories (and not having sex scenes left, right and centre, something else I liked about this story), then I would love every single one of these releases. The light-heartedness of the opening of Corpse Day is what made the second half bearable (seriously, there's some really dark stuff in that one). I hope that this nice balance can be struck between the two some more in the future

Wow! - I thought Big Finish was already stepping up their game with Torchwood. Totally fantastic to have Ianto and Owen together in this, and simply a superb story. Dunno who this new writer Gareth David-Lloyd is ;-) but he absolutely has to write more - I enjoyed that every bit as much as a story by Dorney or Adams.

If you didn't already know, he's writing one of the episodes of Torchwood One: Machines

That is a damn good 1st script from GDL, he obviously writes Ianto very well.
I am so glad they managed to get Burn Gorman back, he is the best actor on Torchwood.
Drunk Ianto and Owen were a highlight

Spoilers ...
Am I alone in thinking that this latest series is more deserving of its 'adult material may not be suitable for younger listeners' moniker? What with Jack's graphic antics last month and the two, well, mutual masturbaters featured here, there are some raunchy moments here. Are they necessary? Should I care? Well, I don't. I like that the humour here is something I can laugh out loud at because it is so naughty. And I also really like this story, once again. Gareth David-Lloyd has delivered such a good script, filled with terrific dialogue, and he and Burn Gorman - both excellent throughout - deliver it perfectly. And it's clear from the extras that Scott Handcock has his hands full during the recording - in the nicest possible way.
I'm still waiting for the Torchwood range to put a foot wrong. Possibly The Dollhouse is the weakest link so far, but that was still huge fun. I've got a feeling Goodbye Piccadilly may not be wholly to my tastes going by the trailer, but who knows?

I must be naive and innocent I don't know whether it is necessary to spoiler this, but I will anyway {Spoiler} When Owen meets up with the two 'muppets' (as he calls them) that conned him into buying them cigarettes from the Off Licence, listen closely to the dialogue. This is the second time he meets them, toward the end.
