Everyone interested in ancillary media and merch should bookmark the Doctor Who Merchandise news site, they almost always get things up earlier than other outlets and you'll find loads of stuff there that doesn't get mentioned (or gets buried) on social media platforms. merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/They had this book up as a story 10 days ago for one - it's a good resource that a lot of people here would benefit from.

Actually this collection has been bouncing around as a "coming soon" for a lot longer than that. Seems to have gone through a few different titles including "The Companion Collection" or something like that.

Didn't realise that all the stories were written by women as well. That's cool, given the great deficit of female Who writers. Good to see a couple new names on the cover as well.

It's the Sarah Jane tale that intrigues me the most. Very intrested on a woman's take on the era and the Four/Sarah dynamic. (I'm not saying Sarah wasn't a strong character, but there is a lot to re-examine).

Might be interesting to see that change examined, but it's a very specific ask.

It's just Susan that's new to Who, isn't it? It's still astonishing to me that DW these days can attract names like Colgan, Koomson and Calman.

Interesting that her other Who story was an open submission.

Honestly, I'm really hoping this is popular enough for a volume two Ten and Martha (having a story where Martha looks back on an adventure with Ten and have it add to why she left him and her understanding in just how bad their relationship was, pre-Mickey), Eleven and Amy. Maybe highlight Barbara, Zoe and Ace for the new generation as well
