Big Finish are well known for their penchant for spinoffs featuring characters that were in a story or two and are now long into their own intrigues. They've done it with the Classic Series (Jago & Litefoot, Countermeasures, UNIT, Gallifrey, etc), they've done it with the New Series (Churchill, River, UNIT, Torchwood, etc), but Big Finish are also know for taking original characters they've created for a story and giving them their own house-owned spinoffs, like Benny (bit of a special case, but you get my meaning), Vienna, Graceless, etc. Notably though, all of these latter examples are spinoffs from Classic Series ranges. And I'm idly wondering how soon before we see the first such branch-off from the New Series ranges.
Are there any such original characters or concepts from BF's New Series releases that you think could be spun off into their own thing at present time?

As of right now, I'd say Ollistra is the best candidate.

As of right now, I'd say Ollistra is the best candidate. True but a BF-owned Ollistra spinoff would have to ignore her being a Time Lord which is pretty much her whole deal. Maybe if Big Finish creates a companion who can stand on their own and puts them with a new series Doctor, a la Charlotte Pollard. In any case if there was a new spinoff I'd want to see it grounded in one time period (Counter Measures, Jago & Litefoot) rather than being super time travelly (Charlotte, River).

Allusions to tt capsules, ships, etc instead of mentioning the word "TARDIS", always "your people" instead of Time Lords, etc.

Basically the whole point of things like Charlotte Pollard, Vienna, etc is that they can produce the series without paying any license. Every single thing is original. Which means no Doctor Who references other than to things that Big Finish creates. So while Charley might meet a Scorchie or a Rocket Man, Time Lords or Zygons would be strictly out.
That's not to say the Doctor couldn't appear, they'd just have to pay more than they would to produce it without him.

Isn't "Tales of the New Earth" effectively BF's New Series Spinoff?

Isn't "Tales of the New Earth" effectively BF's New Series Spinoff? Not quite, as it still features Novice Hame from New Earth and Gridlock. And it's been theorised that this series will be similar to The Churchill Years, with the part of the Tenth Doctor narrated by one of the characters, so he will still technically 'appear' in them. (This theory comes from one of the writers - can't remember which, sorry - saying that these haven't been confirmed as full cast audios after the cover revealed that the Tenth Doctor will be involved in the box set some way.)

The point is that by including such things that product would then be subject to the Doctor Who license oversite in some manner, and would potentially require approval from the BBC. By removing all mention of Doctor Who things, or not referencing them directly, Big Finish is free to do what they want with things, without having to ask anyone's permission, or putting the Doctor Who label on somewhere.
