Okay, so it's a big cliche in movies and whatnot concerning music that transports you back to a particular time in your life, but has this happened to you, what was it and what did it mean?

Hiroyuki Sawano's "aLIEz" from Aldnoah.Zero. It's an amazing song (particularly the cover by Amanda Lee) and puts me slap-bang in the middle of pretty much any transitional period in my life that you can name. You know the one, you're moving from school to work, work to retirement, single to couple, couple to family -- one of those moments where everything's gone a little topsy-turvy as it changes. Barry Gray's " Dangerous Game" pretty much sums up a childhood fascination with spy stories. In particular, seeing North by Northwest on the big screen in a nighttime park. That was an incredible experience.
