British/ Southern Americans share a lot of words in the English language, some that mean different things, some pronounced distinctly different....
1 such word is biscuit...in the south, it's a flour based, baked bread, normally round, and smaller than a hamburger bun, great with sausage gravy and a mater(tomato), couple of eggs, and a cup of coffee, makes a great tasting, if not entirely healthy, breakfast..In Britian, it's a cookie, so what's the British word for cookie?
Schedule, y'all say, shed Yule, here we say, sked Yule....just a couple of examples, there are others.
