Listened it it yesterday, and it is a clever idea. Nice little story. The accent for the Seventh Doctor did throw me off a bit in this story. It wasn't just that it wasn't quite right, it's that it was off in a way that took me out of the story, at first.

T'was The Night Before Christmas - a subscriber treat almost like the two 'Ravenous' volumes did meet with a "Kandyman Krampus" - all sugar and fright! But the poet and Seven win with words - a good write!
Whimsical, clever and great use of language and historical American atmosphere, I really enjoyed it. And I loved the Doctor's joke about pretentious modern coffee culture! ('Skinny wet demi-soya organic yoga chef lattes' )
